I would try one of the home remedies others have given. I've tried those ointments and they don't work very well. Everytime I had a wart and tried something other than freezing they came back.
The duct tape solution sounds the best!

Go to the drug store or even Target or Walmart or a grocery store and buy wart remover. They have one that has Salicylic Acid in it that you apply to the wart every day over the course of several weeks (read and follow the directions on the bottle). They also have one that freezes warts off. I haven't tried that one yet, but it's probably faster (and more painful) Make sure what's on your hand is a wart and not a mole or something else before you start treating it with wart remover.

Moles, warts, and epidermis tickets are typical epidermis lesions that develop naturally. Believe it or not....this works. I found it online and actually asked my daughters doctor about it and she said yes, this is the simplest, cheapest way to remove a wart. I used it on my daughter and her wart is gone!! You cut a small piece of duct tape, a piece big enough to cover it and stick. You leave it on there for 6 days....remove it and put a new piece on for another 6 days....afterwards you should be able to remove the tape and see that the wart has gone away....if there is a bit left, just take a file and file it down smooth. No pain and no big hassle....Good luck!!!

When my brother was younger, he had a wart on his finger. We didn't know what to do with, so we left it alone. One of my uncles said that he should burn it. So, he did just that. My uncle lit a cigarette and pressed the cigarette over the wart and in a few day it was gone. It may hurt, but hey, if it works why not, right?

There are some products in your local drugstore that you just put the covering (like a bandage) over it, and it falls off in abut 2 days. Wart Off is the best one I've seen.

Rub the peel of a potato over the warts....either toss the peel into the yard or bury it in the yard....an old wive's tale maybe...but something in the potato peel actually causes the warts to dry up. Try it..it doesn't hurt and potatoes are cheap!

Pee on them. Not you, but her, when she's in the shower.
No joke it really does work. I heard it on a radio station and I did it and it got rid of the one on my wrist. Took a while but it did get rid of it.
