over silly things like the danish cartoons,if someone slags of the guy who slept with a child. basically anything against there religion.i know your profit is sacred to you as my wife is to me but i wouldnt go on marches threatening to cut of the head of anybody who slagged her off.dont you think you over react far to easily in something that quite frankly you dont have any proof off.ie the existence of the bloke with the young girl i cant think of his name.sorry.i dont have a problem with your beliefs you can believe whatever you like it is of no concern to me but why so touchy and overeacting all the time.

I hope I don't offend people with this answer, but I really think that Muslims today are in the same place in their history that Christians were in 800 or a thousand years ago. Christians in the 10th to 14th centuries did more than their share of religious freaking out with witch trials, wars between rival factions, burning at the stake and so on. Apparently it takes some time for a big political religious movement to become peaceful. Perhaps very soon the world will begin to see a new kind of Muslim literature in which spiritual issues are discussed in a peaceful, rational manner and more Muslims will begin to think about how to love God while not killing their fellow humans.
I can hope if I want to.

well bro, Muslim or not Muslim, we are all human. And we get angry and do stuff without thinking. Only a few would really sit and think before they take any action. Well tell me, wouldn't you whack the guy if he talk bad bout ur mom saying she sell her body to provide food and shelter for u and ur family. Well i think you would coz i would too. It not only being Muslim that we have to react violently. Its being HUMAN. And frankly being Muslim I'm ashamed at the violence some of the brothers have done. And there's extremist even in you religion group right. Nobody is perfect bro. But again not all Muslim country encourage to retaliate when the Pope commented about Muslim. War torn country like Iraq even ordered Iraqis not to take out on the Christian community. Well u got to give some credits to that right. And bro you are not making things better with that comment about the moon god thingy. Well for me i'm not going to retaliate with vulgars and insults. To me is just words from someone who have very limited knowledge of my religion. The only knowledge you get maybe is from the news. Well bro, you cant trust everything u hear and see on the TV. But just that hope you can engage your brain before you say things out. Peace bro.

If I happened to be muslim, living a normal life, getting on with my work, practicing my religion, causing no harm to anybody, and suddenly had everything hi-jacked by those who claimed to act in my name, what would I do?
There are several answers;
1. Nothing.
2. Complain to the elders at my mosque.
3. Hope the problem goes away.
4. Protest pubicly against them acting irresponsably
5. Join in because I decide they're correct (always an option).
6. Question their motives
7. Begin a dialogue with other like-minded people as myself in order to show there is a more rational side to my faith.
The difficulty in being a muslim today, appears to come from the loud-mouths shouting down the silent majority.
I write as a Christian.

Muhammad(pbuh*) and his wife Aisha. Again in the time before Muhammad(pbuh*) it was perfectly ok to sell ur daughters into marriage as soon as they had their period because everyone knows as soon as a girl has her period she is now a woman and is capable of becoming pregnant and bearing children. Some Islamic radicals like the idioits in Afghanistan still practice that and even India arranges marriages for their daughters because how does a girl know anything about love? I believe the men can choose their wives in India. Also I believe the Taliban sell their young daughters into forced marriages as well. And those guys defintly are not abiding by Islam.

People act towards insults in the way of what they were raise to according to what their customs are. Stop placing judgement on people and singling them out like this. If you are not in their country, don't worry about things like this. All you do is cause strife. There is also violence in the USA. Violence is violence.
Why did that man shoot those innocent girls in that Amish school? What makes His violence less than muslims violence?
It's all wrong no matter who is doing the violence. Try praying for those countries who are inflicted with such hatred, instend of adding insult to injury with judging them.
Proverbs 15:18 A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth strife.

i believe its more of a chain reaction. just because somebody said something, u dont blidly support. u have to think before u act. do not take religion as God. Religion is a path to god. if u find see some dust on the road, do u stop ur work and start shouting at the person who has done it. NO. the law is there to take care. Y just have to carry on to reach your destination.I do not know whether these things are mentioned in ur texts.

Religion ... touchy subject ... Mohammad the Muslim prophet according to his teachings says to "spread the word by the sword". What does that say to you? We all believe in God whatever the name you prefer to use be it Ala, God, he who has no name, the god of Abraham, whatever he is still the one God and I think that "thou shalt not kill" is good advice. Don't lie, don't cheat, don't steal these are what I would call commen sense but man has built walls to separate us all and dilute the message of love that is basic to the christian faith. We should be working together instead of fighting among each other over particulars. Worship in your own way but do worship and let others do the same. The deep roots of your question can't be answered in a small amount of time or space but I hope this has helped and not put me on a religious fanatic's list.

I think Christians react the same when their religion icons are attacked. The difference is only that Muslim world don't have separated religion from the state and their religion is much more involved in their everyday life than in the west.
In my country a music band decided that they will put on the cover of their CD a Marry who have in her hands rat (She should have Jesus in her hand) and Christians in my country get mad. They protested....

Hey muslims dont react so badly as u said. Muslims have sentiments.. but sadly these sentiments r getting voilated evry now and then. Muslims are getting taunted all over the world. People now have a opinion that muslims = terrorists. i think that is too bad. Cause every muslim is not the same. there r some people who r not worthy of our holy religon. so my freind don't ever say what u have said before. thx

because they are pathetic, but to be fair many people in christianity i think used to torture people if they disagreed with the earth being the centre of universe or whatever. around times of coponicus.
the muslims that riot are pathetic and embarrasing themselves. its like when a man who has a small dick gets a chuckle from a girl and he beats her up for it, pathetic.
