I have caught my male rabbit on my cat, but I don't know if they can actually have babies (Kabbits?) together

They can, but nothing would happen. Cats are carnivores, rabbits are vegetarians. This causes a major difference in gene makeup, making it so they are incompatable to reproduce. As well, their gestation times are so different that even if a rabbit got pregnant by a cat or vice versa the kittens would be premature. Ever notice how when rabbit babies are born they are hairless, pink and have little black spost where eyes should be? This is because they are designed to grow outside the womb....baby cats are not.

It is said to have happened, that is where the Manx Cat came from. It's supposed to be 1/2 rabbit & 1/2 cat. I don't know how true it is,but that's what I've always heard.

i do no longer think of they are in love in all probability the rabbit in simple terms likes staring on the cat yet i don' think of they are in love. The rabbit won't get pregnant via a cat. i do no longer think of they are going to go through, because of fact i do no longer even think of they are in love. they could must be in love with the comparable animal which they are.

The myth of rabbits and cats mating to make the Manx is just that - a myth.

I know what you are inkling towards. They are called Manx cats. these cats, which originated in the Isle of Mann, look like rabbits (all white with pink eyes, back legs are made for hopping). I would look them up on the Internet as I am not sure if they were mixed with rabbits long ago. I used to own one long ago and it was a extremely lovely and tame. Very expensive breed.

That would be kinda gross, but I guess nothing is impossible (I mean they created a Liger (lion and a tiger)).
