I like the latest Roxio CD/DVD burning package the best. I have also had great luck with Nero. But I don't burn copies of DVD movies...

to make a video dvd? or data dvd? (sorry, not familiar with that program ^^;;) for data, i usually use Nero while for video... there's a lot you can use... but i use Ulead for now... :)
