Every living, breathing individual who got off of a boat and set foot on this land before immigration laws were put into place is an illegal immigrant. Of course some people didn't have a choice in the matter and weren't immigrants at all but let's not go there.

Considering there were no laws for entry into the country, no.

Were the indians illegal immigrants since they didn't own the land either?

The natives welcomed them and helped them through the first winter, remember?

They were refugees seeking asylum. Any way you look at it they came legally.

However, even if it hadn't it wouldn't be relevant, today. It isn't as if the Natives had to pay for their schools, teach bilingual education and degrade their own children's education accordingly.

You bet... The natives didn't want them here...people need to remember that the vast majority of americans came from somewhere else! All but Native Americans (Indians even migrated to the western hemisphere from Asia in prehistoric times) were immigrants at one point or another!
