Has anyone been to the Medieval Banquet (sp?) in London? The one near London Bridge?

I'm thinking of going, but don't know what it's like. Music, food, atmosphere, are the hygine standards authentic ;-), that sort of thing. Specifically, do you eat with other people or just with your own group? I'd rather have more people there when they open the dance floor!

Cheers peeps!
Matt

I've never been to the one in London, but did go to one at Warwick Castle once.

It was such a blast!! Lots of meat and mead (served in tankards by wenches). They encouraged you to chuck the rib bones over your shoulder when you were done and there was no cutlery provided!!

Everyone sat at one hugely long table, though groups did sit together. But there was a chance to mingle after feasting when the bards started singing and the music started!

It was a great experience, though a little daunting at first to act like such a savage barbarian!! But after a few tankards of fine mead, you soon lose your inhibitions and get back to your ancestral roots!!!

Do it and enjoy!!
