Ok, I've tried the horse shampoo and it didn't work for me. What really works for me is getting the ends trimmed every 3 months and taking vitamin E capsules. You can get those at any pharmacy. Try massaging your scalp also.. it feels good and also distributes oils all around. Good luck!!

I know that any multi vitamin, such as a mens or womens multi vitamin, will help because you are actually getting the proper vitamins and nutrients and minerals that you need and not relying on your food intake to get them. Now I am not too sure on the horse shampoo. I have used it before but I never got any results that would make me believe that it had helped my hair grow. Try stimulating your scalp. That brings the blood to the surface of your head which in turn helps stimulate follicles and helps your hair grow.

Prenatal vitamins are great for your whole body, your hair will shine, your nails will grow. But really, hair grows more in the summer than in the winter, and at its own speed. Conditioning the ends will help it from breaking off and trimming ends that are splitting (don't cut unless they are split). Just be patient and before long you will see the results. Good Luck!

If you want hair to grow faster, you have to take supplements that work on your body chemistry to support hair's growth and strength at its genesis.....once it has grown out, it is just dead keratin
Try GNC, they make a supplement called "Nourishair" in formulas for men and women..they are HUGE pills and you have to take 2 daily. There is also a "Hair skin and nails" formula from Andrew Lessman that you can google, that has great ingredients and is easier to swallow, made by ProCaps labs. You can also take large doses of Biotin, sometimes called Vitamin H, take no less than 2500 micrograms daily to support healthy hair growth.

Your hair grows at a natural rate and there is nothing you can do to make it grow faster. Applying chemicals thins out the hair making it appear longer but makes it weaker and more prone to breaking. Some people's hair grows faster than others (just check out babies, some are bald and some have loads). you can always buy a hairpiece or else just be patient.

Hi,
I'd have to agree with Patty on the vitamin E capsules. They really help.
And trimming your ends, just a bit every 3-4 months promotes growth.
GoodLuck.

My husband took pre-natal vitamins when he wanted his hair long. Not the kind with hormones, the kind that strengthens your hair and nails. Within 1 year he went from a buzz cut to a thick shoulder length head of hair.
