Maybe coz the cats may not want to go to the trouble of hunting live mice (and so ridding the place of pests) since they're getting the same taste with no effort at all.

I've never seen a cat actually eat a mouse - they just bat it around for a bit till it escapes or dies of shock... so they're probably not too bothered either way...

Cats don't really like to eat mouse meat. They just like to chase them and play with them.

What a good question!

Also, bird flavoured catfood.......probably to do with health laws why they don't make mouse or bird flavoured, (bar chicken).

Because.......cats like to hunt for their food. It's the joy of killing a mouse that they really like.

Would you actually buy it to feed to your cat when it would give off a smell like a dead rodent in your kitchen? The fish flavored is just wrong the way it is!!!!
