Jesus (Isa) was mentioned in quran several times. Look at this verse from quran:

[Shakir 3:52] But when Isa perceived unbelief on their part, he said Who will be my helpers in Allah's way? The disciples said: We are helpers (in the way) of Allah: We believe in Allah and bear witness that we are submitting ones.

Who are the Followers of Jesus?
By Gary Miller
He discovered to his amazement that the message of the Qur'an was precisely the same as the essence of truth that he had distilled from the Bible. He became a Muslim and since then has been active in giving public presentations on Islam including radio and television appearances. He is also the author of several articles and publications about Islam.

Suppose that someone observed Jesus two-thousand years ago, and he left this planet, or went to sleep for two-thousand years and returned today to look for the followers of Jesus, who would he find? Who would he recognise? Christians?

The Bible says very clearly that Jesus used to FAST. Do Christians fast in the same manner? Muslims fast; it is obligatory one month every year.

The Bible says that Jesus prayed by touching his forehead to the ground. Do Christians pray in this manner? Muslims do. It is characteristic of their prayer and no one one earth is probably ignorant of the fact.

According to Jesus, he told his disciples to greet one another with the expression, "Peace be with you." Do the Christians do that? Muslims do, universally, whether they speak Arabic or not. The greeting for one another is Assalamu'alaikum (peace be with you).

The brother of Jesus in the Book of James, stated that no man should suggest what he is about to do or highlight his plans for the next few days in any way without adding the phrase "If God wills." Do not say "I will go here and there, do this and do that.." without adding the phrase "if God wills." Do Christians do that? Muslims do, whether they speak Arabic or not. If they so much as suggest they are going downtown to pick up some groceries, they will add, Insha-Allah, which in Arabic means, "If God wills."

Gary Miller is a mathematician and a theologian, active in Christian missionary work at a particular point of his life but he soon began to discover many inconsistencies in the Bible. In 1978, he happened to read the Qur'an expecting that it, too, would contain a mixture of truth and falsehood.

you want proof from bible , that jesus was muslim ??????

but you can get it from al quran of course .(136. Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allâh and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrâhim (Abraham), Ismâ'il (Ishmael), Ishâque (Isaac), Ya'qûb (Jacob), and to Al-Asbât [the twelve sons of Ya'qûb (Jacob)], and that which has been given to Mûsa (Moses) and 'Iesa (Jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islâm)."
137. So if they believe in the like of that which you believe, then they are rightly guided, but if they turn away, then they are only in opposition. So Allâh will suffice you against them. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.)

( 116. And (remember) when Allâh will say (on the Day of Resurrection): "O 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)! Did you say unto men: 'Worship me and my mother as two gods besides Allâh?' " He will say: "Glory be to You! It was not for me to say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, You would surely have known it. You know what is in my innerself though I do not know what is in Yours, truly, You, only You, are the AllKnower of all that is hidden and unseen.

117. "Never did I say to them aught except what You (Allâh) did command me to say: 'Worship Allâh, my Lord and your Lord.' And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them, but when You took me up, You were the Watcher over them, and You are a Witness to all things. (This is a great admonition and warning to the Christians of the whole world).

118. "If You punish them, they are Your slaves, and if You forgive them, verily You, only You are the AllMighty, the AllWise[]."

Omar,
There are in fact many contradictions between the gospel and the Koran, and as the Koran affirms Jesus as a prophet but Jesus does not likewise affirm Mohammed as a prophet we are left to conclude that Mohammed was neither a prophet of God nor did he even grasp the gospel message itself. For God's legitimate messengers would not contradict what God's former messengers said. And yet Mohammed in the Koran does contradict what God's former messengers said, even while affirming those messengers as being from God. Just like Muslims today Mohammed simply ignored their message. Muslims today are relatively ignorant about what Jesus said. Their teaches may feed them a few verses, but overlook those which contradict the Koran.

No. Islam was not made an official religion until about 600 years after Christ's death and resurrection.
You won't find proof in either book, in the positive or negative. However, the history of Islam alone proves it.

No need of proof, because Jesus became before the Islam, so how he can be a Muslim. Where you see here the logic?

That depends on your definition of Muslim.
-------------------------------
1.) Some people define "Muslim" as one who adheres to Mohammad's teachings and the 5 pillars of Islam:

- The Testimony of Faith (Shahadah) - the declaration that there is none worthy of worship except Allah (Arabic:God) and that Muhammad(PBUH)is His last messenger.

- Ritual Prayer (Salat) - establishing of the five daily Prayers.

- Obligatory (religious) almsgiving (Zakat) - which is generally 2.5% of the total savings for a rich man working in trade or industry, and 10% or 20% of the annual produce for agriculturists.

- Sawm, Fasting

- Pilgrimage to Mecca
-------------------------------

2.) Others define Muslim simply as one who submits to (one) God.

Luke 23:46 - Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!" Having said this, he breathed his last.

-------------------------------

If you choose definition 1, Jesus was definitely NOT a Muslim.
If you choose definition 2, Jesus was definitely a Muslim.

All prophets were muslemeen (muslims) and called for Islam. 'Islam' in language means 'submission'. Religiously 'Islam' is about 'submission and believing in only one God that is Allah'. All prophets and messengers from Allah asked their people to submit to Allah. The difference is in the Shriaa or mella if you know the words in arabic; I cannot think of a specific word for it but the best seems to be 'law'.

Unfortunately I cannot remember specific verses from the Quran now but definitely throughout the Quran where a story of a prophet is recited, you will see that he asked his people for 'submission' to Allah and worshing no god but Him Only.

I cannot give you any proof from the Qur'an, however the bible specifically states he was born of the family line of King David and is therefore a Jew.
