or maybe invite him home for dinner or sth n let ur mom speak to him and get to know him better... if he really wanna date u sincerely, he shouldn't be scared to ask your mom for permission personally.... it is not as if he is gonna marry you rite now!

Try introducing this guy to your mom one fine day ... make it a casual meeting. Make him leave before your mom's brain could even have a slightest hint. Then over few weeks do this often.
Make her believe that you have a nice and decent friendship with this guy and also that the guy respects the relationship. The only way to get this done is to really have a relationship like this..
Once your mom feels that youre mature enough to understand the boundaries of a relationship/friendship and also that her daughter is with a nice chap who wont take undue advantage of her, she'll sure think positive about this friendship. Advantage involved is that you wont have to pretend or sneak out and hence wont have fear of being caught or feel guilty of lying to your mom.
Respect in any relationship is the glue that keeps the partners clinged with each other. And I bet your Mom knows that she cant keep you tucked to herself for the whole life..
If she feels youre with the right kinda guy who has goals in life and is looking for a committed relationship, she'll definately give yuor relationship a thought.
Rest lies on your performance.
Best of luck

Tempted? Facing temptation and choosing what we know is right versus what we WANT - - is life. When we choose the temptation, we must accept the
consequences. You must accept the pregnacies, unplanned babies, being a school dropout, getting rejected by friends. shame with family, maybe becomming a dope addict and all the hell that follows...OR you might be able to ask mom to help you come up with some other activities. Isn't it just plain heck to have to wait so long to grow up? THEN you can do anything YOU want and still suffer all the consequences!! You may not LIKE this answer, but I didn't lie --TALK WITH MOM! No absolutely not! One night with a guy is not worth a lifetime on restriction. Besides what happens if you get raped on this date and no one knows where the heck you are? It happens all the time. Because some little girl sneaks out and no one knows she is gone or even where she has gone. There are missing persons lists the world over filled with little girls who snuck out.

Don't sneak out. Moms can be a bit lame, but she's got you best interest at heart. Sometime they see what we can"t. Ask her to let him come over. If he really likes you then he wont mind your mom being around.

your mother is more experienced being older than you. be patient and ask her the reason. haste makes waste. she must have a reason for why she not letting you go, you very young eitther or could be she knows something about the guy. In my opinion you must talk to her which is more important before talking to him.

If your mom won't let you then it is probably for a very good reason. She may know something about him that you don't. If you really want to, then ask your mom if you can go if you take a chaperone with you.

i dont think its a good idea. i have a friend who did that, and she had an accident on her way back home. her parents thought she was in bed. so imagine how they felt when they found out she was involved in a car crash. till this day they blame themselves over the insident. dont put your mom in that position, i dont think you want to. but then again its up to you!!
