Okay...this boy, Kevin. I used to like him (I never asked him out, keep this in mind, and also if you read my other question, I like another boy now, who also happens to be his best friend), and I just now found out that he's been going around telling people that I, the ugliest girl in the school, had asked him out. To quote his exact words:
Kevin: God, I'm so depressed.
Person: Why?
K: Because the ugliest girl in school just asked me out today.
P: And who would that be?
K: Emily B (He actually said my last name, but I won't say it)
And he's being telling EVERYONE this!
And he made Zane (from another question, I like him) think I'm a desperate freak!

Ask a boy from another school out.
Go to your local sporting club or a community event and get a circle of firends that aren't from school.
You'll probably find better sorts out there than school- then you can rub their noses in it when you turn up with an intellegent and good looking beau for the next dance!

PS- boyz are petrified of girls who are confident enough to make the first move- so next time- make HUGE hints about what you would like- then when they ask YOU out they think it was THEIR idea!

Girl, boys will always be boys. Ignore him and the other boy. Face your school work and later on, when everything is settled, a decent and mature boy will come along. Fighting with the Kevin boy will make him continue or do worse things. Let him be and when he's tired, no one will teach him to shut up.

Maybe he likes you that's why he's using that as a cover up to get your attention.

Once something like that starts it hard to stop it. Tell your closest friends that it is not true. Them knowing that is the most important thing. Ignore this guy completely. People will eventually figure it out if they see that you won't even give him the time of day. And beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Who made him a judge of beauty?

If you are still in school, don't worry about the dumb boys right now. Just worry about getting a good education, and improving yourself. Then when you are older, and prepared, you will find a guy who cares about the whole package, and is more mature. You deserve that! Good luck!

At this age (and sadly until probably they're married) their motto is "bros before hos". Just ignore it people are either going to believe it or not. If someone asks you tell them the truth.
