Eternal life in heaven is very beatiful. Don't you get it! You'll never feel pain, no sadness, no sorrow, it is all about happiness! You can play with lions, tigers, or even dinosaurs because God will remove the emity between animals and humans
If at the moment before he died, Hitler was sincerely repentent of his sins, and asked God to forgive Him through His son Jesus Christ, he would have been forgiven and granted access to heaven.
There many so called GOOD People out there - but if they have't recieved Jesus into thier hearts - they simply walking on the road to HELL! SORRY man - BUT that is TRUE!!!
Jesus was never a athesist, He cried my father why hast thou forsaken me, God never did forsaken Jesus, God only let Jesus feel the sins of the whole world upon him, If you think God had forsaken Jesus, why was there a great earthquake after Jesus gace up the ghost.

This is why I became an atheist when I was still a child.
You know, I could have a blast ripping on every one of these quotes, but I'm only going for numbers 2 and 4.
If people like Hitler, Ted Bundy, Jeffry Dahmer, etc. can secure a seat in heaven simply for the asking, then no thank you. I'll pass. I wouldn't want to hang out with a God that will let any type of trash in simply because they accept Christ as their savior. That type of smugness reeks of dictatorship, and I really want no part of it.
I would turn my back on any God who demanded I slaughter my kids and offer them up. That's just wrong. You see the hypothetical questions here all the time, asking if people would renounce God to save their children. Most actually say "no." That's morally reprehensible. Yet they say it, and they mean it. If I were to say the same thing, the police would be beating down my door.
The whole mindset is very sad.

If you don't have a problem with this, without further moving on how you think it is okay for a god to ask you to kill your kids,I don't think we could ever reason on any religious debate. I like this religious commentary more than the ones we have been getting lately that try to use faulty logic and misinformation. At least you're trying to approach this from a theological point of view.

Heaven sound's great and all but its too perfect. I personally would be bored of out my mind. Fear gives me excitment being sad isn't bad because if your happy all the time than it'll suck. From what your saying there are plenty of good people in hell who are just like me. Plus my famliy are hardcore buddhist and they'll all go to hell I don't want to leave them there. I choose my family over God any day because they were always there for me and I love them with all my heart. Hell isn't such a bad place, the hell in the bible states that its a place away from god doesn't mean demons torture you. I would love to meet the Roman Legions and the Greek Phalanx who will also be in hell because christinaity didn't exist back than.

God doesn't change, but people do.
In times past, I believe our Creator was forgiving and kind. And
anybody who wanted to, could make it to heaven.
But I feel that we are living in a time where there will be a natural
disaster, that will cause spiritual repercussions. And our free will
will come into play.
Either we face the changes bravely and help others to do so.
And take control and end up in the better aspects of things. Or
we lose ourselves. Give into anger, and perversions, and
will end up in negative realities.
What will happen is not the END OF EVERYTHING. But it
will be a major change, with dire consequences.

You're mental. How can lions and tigers be in heaven when they've got no souls? Also, the thought that people can be condemned to 'hell' despite how good they are, just because they're not Christian is disgusting - what sort of God do you believe in? Remember, Jesus stood for Pacifism, Humility, TOLERANCE and UNDERSTANDING. Not Bigotry, narrow mindedness and exclusion.

I thought animals don't get access to heaven because "they have no souls"...
Apparently good agnostics and atheists and muslims and Jews, and Hindus and Buddhists, etc are still worse than Hitler
and that's why I feel certain aspects of Christianity are bull.

It is true that if you accept Christ as Lord and Saviour and believe that God resurrected Him from the dead, you will be saved. You will be passed from death into life. When Christ cried out "My God, My God why has thou forsaken me?" It was because at that time He was separated from His Father, because of our sins He took upon Him. God and sin cannot walk together.
But the ones who havent heard, or the ones who have, but did not understand the message, they will be judged according to the good they did or the evil they did.

Don't dare ascribe the words to Jesus which he never uttered. No Prophet could ever say "Why hast thou forsaken me" to God, as everyone of them knows that God can never forsake them.
You are blindfolded and would never understand such simple and straightforward things, rather complicate them by presenting Trinity and in turn saying that its something which cannot be easily understood. Duh!
Worship the Creator, not the creation!

that's one way of looking at it but i think many believers will disagree with some of the things that have been said, let alone atheists.
in response to what you've cut & pasted here, i'm not sure what i ought to think about the difference between fantasists and the faithful
