If your destination looks very much like the place you just left, and gets steadily smaller, you're sitting on it the wrong way round.

Its been a while for me, I would strictly be going by memory and imagination if I told you.
I do recall there is nothing like the feel of a great stallion between the thighs for some fun.
Its all about the horse though, to ride properly you must get into the rhythem of the gallop or you will just be slapping your own a*ss against the saddle.

By the way, you really dont need lessons.

You need to be more specific. That style of riding do you want to know about? English? Western? Racing?

All three are different!

In basic terms your legs make the horse go faster and the reins make it stop. To learn more than that go along to your nearest riding school and ask them about taking lessons. The following link will take you to a list of British Horse Society approved centres: http://www.bhs.org.uk/content/App-home.asp

And don't forget, it isn't easy and will take you years before you become an experienced rider. Most importantly it is fun! Don't give up trying.

Side-saddle without the saddle or the horse; sometimes doggy style.

Just lift the tail and hold out a sugarlump.
There shouldn't be any need for lube.
A stool may be handy.
