Hi All,
Whats a nice thoughtful present to get a girl for Christmas who I am very close to but she is married. Shes in her 20s and i want to get her something personal and almost romantic (but not in that way if you see what i mean). Something that she will appreciate is from the heart and that i still think about her! We are close and yes we both have feelings above and beyond friendship but we would never act on any of them and i have my own girlfriend! Both our partners are fully aware of how close we are so thats not an issue.... So answers gratefully appreciated...

Perfumes are so overdone and a weekend away treat would be nice but expensive.... I asked this question yesterday and got useful answers such as :
Massage Voucher
Red Letter Day Away
Collection of our photos
Necklace
Chocolates
Still not been inspired so i hope there are some new ideas out there today?? Help appreciated guys and gals! Thanks...

Maybe a really nice/soft bathrobe along with some bubble bath, shower gel & lotion from Bath & Body. Maybe a candle also.

Women love that stuff & it's not too much to make hubby jealous.

I don't know how you could give her a "romantic" gift, without crossing any boundries, considering she's a married woman. I would stick to something inexpensive, but thoughtful. If you have a lot of pictures together, you could make a photo album for her (I know it's been mentioned, but it's a great idea). You could make your own gift basket and incorporate anything or everything you want. Gift certificate to her favorite place is always nice. Concert tickets, movie certificate....you know...maybe something that could get you two to spend more time together. I'm not encouraging "anything", but seeming as you like spending time with her, why not incorporate a gift that could bring more of it.

I would suggest getting a basket and filling it with candles, bath salts, maybe a CD that she would like or a gift certificate to the salon for a pedicure and manicure ( pedicures are wonderful especially for someone who is always on the run and working it a good way to relax ). Good luck with that and have a good Christmas.

A hand made coupon book with coupons for a back rub, foot rub, car wash, dinner out, lunch out, will do dishes, take out trash, vacuum the house, shovel the snow, rake the leaves, mow the yard, have a picnic, and give her chocolates and a gift certificate from her favorite store!! D

I'd say that if you are considering buying something "almost romantic" then you are fool. This woman has a husband and you are sniffing around his wife.
You sound like you need a woman of your own. The gifts you mention would be more suitable in this case.

What about a Silver Last Rolo http://www.drop365.com/products/details/820.html

May be a bit too romantic though!

Why not get her a necklace with a friendship pendant on it,that's something special and also shows the partners involved that all is involved.

find a download site, and make up a cd of all the songs, the two of you both love and give it to her with a personalised message on the inside.
(I did the same for a special "friend" of mine for his birthday - same circumstances.)

A poem, if you are good at poetry, about your special "friendship", and how you feel about her, its something she can keep close to her heart and cherish always........

If your friend likes to read give her a book or a gift certificate from amazon, so that she can pick what she wants.
