Have you ever just felt like taking your kids to school, daycare, the babysitter.. or where ever they go and just leaving and never coming back? I'm not asking if you WOULD do it, I'm just asking if you've ever felt like it.

I don't know the name, it was an older movie on early morning TV and it was about a mom whose husband had left her, and she took her 10 year old to school and left town, and then at the end, like 5 years later, she came back to town and wanted her daughter back from a family that adopted her.

I never thought of doing that. I love my children and I could never put my children in someone elses care. I don't know what i am going to do when they start school. I might just home school! I can't stand the thought of someone else raising my kids. I have 3 and the 4th on the way and I only have left my children with a grandparent a few times!

Honestly I think every parent has thought about that, but you take in the good times and think what would your childs life be without you. I have 5 kids and one is constantly in and out of the hospital due to an illness he has and trust me it gets really hard at times. There is a saying that God only gives you what you can handle, when people tell me that I tell them he must think i'm super woman than cause he throws alot at me. But my kids are my world

Not yet! I've been in the mood to drop her at my parent's house for a couple hours, but I would never get bad enough to want to leave her for good. I can't even imagine that! And then having the audacity to come back and want her back? That's just wrong...

thinking it is one thing but voicing this feeling??may be a sign that you are looking for someone to reassure you that it is normal to think like that!! exhaustion can do that to people, as long as the question never becomes- do you think it is ok to leave them when you have had enough. I hope you never feel that way!!

Anybody who answers this question with a NO is lying! Of course we have all had those kind of thoughts run through our heads, but thats exactly where they stay. Its not like we would ever act upon those thoughts

Never felt that way, but I guess a bad parent could feel that way.
