Personally, I'm sick to the back teeth of listening and seeing them.

I have no problem with most people who immigrate into the UK because they INTEGRATE. The whole separatist style of Muslim culture is difficult to stomach. The worse thing I find is that their aim generally is to implement Shariah law (which for example condones stoning, flogging etc. for adultery, divorce etc) not just in their communities (which they have self isolated) but also on ours. The Muslim faith encourages both overtly and covertly that their members should strive to turn non Muslims towards the Islamic faith. Why should we change? Practice your faith - that's a good thing, just don't force it on those who choose not to. The race card played every time is sickening. I know it's only a minority but I find it ironic when I see Muslims demonstrating against being called terrorists etc in London and they are wearing mock bomb belts and carrying death to Westerners and London Bomber Heroes placards etc. I'm sorry but I have no problem with asians being profiled at airports etc - If it was ginger people or scousers etc, I would equally have no problem with them being profiled based on their characteristics. Why Muslims cant understand this (or choose not to) is beyond me. Surely they want to stop the backlash against the savage minority by helping their FELLOW COUNTRYMEN and FELLOW HUMANS in stopping crimes against our SHARED COUNTRY. The whole veil thing is also sinister and backward. If I walked into an airport or a bank with a stocking over my head dressed in all black I would be arrested. It is intimidating, secretive and actually unneccesary as far as the Qu'ran is concerned- which I have read - it is purely a matter of personal choice. I guess some people like to paint themselves as victims, this overly PC government of ours just appeases it (and pays out large compensation cheques aswell willy nilly). Other ethnic minorities seem to integrate without major problems and I welcome every one of them. Muslims - sorry, it's not a colour issue it's a religious issue and Islam in my opinion has sinister aspects that for example encourage followers to kill me for saying such things.

This is due to "if we ignore it it might go away". These are dangerous times and if we are not care full things will get out of hand even more, if you study what happened in Germany and the rise of fascism there are similarities to today's Muslim situation. People did`t act only when it was too late. In many ways Islam extremist's have the same values as Nazism, one ruler, one country (or Islam state) one people (meaning that anyone not conforming to Islam must be eliminated, the infidel theory). Extremist's are not using Islam as a religion but are trying to create a new world order. I for one hope something will get done, the situation in Australia is a good example. They have put a stop to Islam extremes. I have travelled many Islam countries and if we don`t adapt to their rules and customs you are less than kindly asked to leave, why are we not doing exactly that ? Beats me ! But hey I will probably be called a racist and not a clear thinking rational human being.

I think the problem is that they don't want to change their lifestyles.
What they do want is free health care, education, nice houses, benefit payments etc etc. They do not come to the UK (or America) for our values, they come for the better quality of life!!

Personally I think it will all end in tears.
The office of National Statistics announced today that population projections for England will go from 50 million to 59 million in just 20 years, mostly due to immigration. We have no spare housing, an infrastructure pushed to breaking point and yet we still encourage more people to come here! I would up and leave this country, but the other cradles of democracy and civilization are going the same way.
At least we'll all be 3rd world together!

It's a hard question to answer. If Muslims (born in the UK) are trying to change the country perhaps they can see what an atheistic bunch most Brits have become and they are clinging to their beliefs incase we drag them down to - after all the slightest thing has them violently protesting making me wonder just how strong their faith is.
Granted we have many different religions here and they simply get on with life. But before we get too excited about Muslims, is it all the fault of the media? are they causing all this friction?

Don't you think that the muslims are tired of the US and UK trying to change their country? Just incase you don't know, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Palestine and now Iran are some of the countries.

Was it good when the British Empire invaded so much land that muslims lived on and changed there country to follow the British? Was that good?

All I can say is what goes around comes around.

No matter what anyone does, the whole of Europe including Britain will become Islamic countries.

That's what happens when you have "Freedom" of speech.

It's a bit pointless for a minority to want to change a country as the only way they could is by being firstly elect into government and then trying to change all the laws and there's not much chance of that happening is there?

But I do have a problem with them blowing up buses and trains, isn't the transport system bad enough anyway without that happening!

Phew, i thought i was the only one. But more foul the U.k for having all their own rights and rules used against them. U think as a female i can go to Dubai, Iran, and any other Islamic county and even do the minimal thing of dressing how i please? No way. Sleeveness-ness, and shorts/mini skirts are a "no can do", but yet some individuals feel they have the right to seek asylum in this country, and then demand things.
Can i get a witness??????

I have to admit i am getting sick of the way they preach about Allah and all that. If they want to live that way they should live in their own country or leave us alone. We are not gonna convert.
The difference between them and other religious people is that if we say no to Muslims they tend to blow people up, other religions dont do that. Thats what my family believes anyway.

Matt you are dead right, I can't understand the women more than anything......
They come to the West to be liberated etc and then choose to live the way they did in their own country......and as for the veils I do not think they have the right to wear them in this country, sorry but I don't.

If they don't like our customs, then they should go home. If they think they are being treated unfairly, then they should go home.

I think they should have a bit more common courtesy for us at the end of the day all they do is come here and slag our country!!!

yes I am. Fine if they want to follow their religion and customs but that does not mean that they should change our country with Muslim only schools, preaching to non-muslims etc... I'm feeling more like i'm part of a minority group in this country then ever before!
