voodoo: they weren't denied treatment, they refused treatment.
As for the illegals, it's great that they were sent back. I hope the driver is used to make a point to others. Put him away for life. Charge him with treason. Do something to stem the flow of illegals!!

For some reason, I think the sleazy lawyers out there are going to start saying that the cops are "profiling" and paying more attention to cargo vans being driven north by scumbags like that one.
And instead of arresting him, why not drop him at the border and let the people he screwed over take care of him?

Its getting far to frequent the people bringing these illegals in ( and they don't do it out the kindness of their hearts always cash involved) have to be stopped..for several reasons not least of which these people have not had medicals they could bring diseases into the country...we don't know how many there are or where they are living..also because of the illegal status they are often exploited..I`m not racists be immigration has to be controlled and monitored.

In parts of Texas where they have the 'zero tolerance zone' each of them would have had at least 15 days in jail.
It has massively driven down crossings in that area. Other than for minors, I think we need to impose it. It isn't as if people who pay to go in the back of a truck don't know they are breaking the law.

Voodoobluesman, they were not denied treatment, they DECLINED.
I am from Houston and nothing surprises me anymore. Harris County spent 92 million dollars of OUR tax money treating illegal immigrants last year (as per Harris County Hospital District).

The driver should be jailed for life, in a mexican prison.
17 out of approximately 20,000 a day, well it's a start.

Coyotes are about the lowest of people on the earth. They should be considered slave traders and sentenced to life in prison. I am from Houston.

I'm not surewhat your point is.
I feel it's terrible that they were denied treatment, and only right that they charged the driver and sent them back to Mexico.
