Right, you keep telling me that I have to accept Christ in to my heart because that's the only way to eternal life, and you also say that if I DON'T accept Christ in to my heart, I'll go to hell.

Well, for me, eternal life would BE hell. They are the same thing to me. I NEED things to have a beginning, middle and end. I can't think of anything more horrorfying than eternity.

So, if I'm going to end up in hell either way, why bother with Christ?

Sweetheart, why do you try to make them understand that there are other people in this world that DO NOT believe like they do. I'm wiccan and I don't go around trying to make everyone Wiccan because frankly it is not for everyone, just like their religion is not for everyone. Do not worry about it sweetie, just over look them and feel free to believe as you believe and that is ultimately what in the end we have to face ourselves over, did we do what we were supposed to do and were we true to ourselves.

Firstly you along with many people in the world have a misconception about hell, the other thing is that eternity like in this type of environment like you say would be hell, but I don't believe you really understand about eternity, for instance if you were able to improve your life to make it very enjoyable for you and that you were happy all the time would you really want that to end? The eternity that Jesus Christ will bring is not the way you imagine it but he will bring a pleasurable happy life that you can enjoy and live in happiness forever and ever, not in heaven as many feel but here on a cleansed peaceful earth with plenty to do and the ability to do what you enjoy not be bored out of your brain. I think you might find that if you really found out the truth about this you might feel totally different about it all!

Sorry, but not everything has a beginning middle or end. It's a little out of our human mind; but, take Time for example, really there is no beginning and no end, the same goes for all life. don't worry about living for eternity, you have what is call eternal progression. In others words, you always learning and progressing. your not going to be sitting on a cloud strumming a harp forever. nor are you going to burn forever. Nor are you going to get tired and bored. Christ was here to show us how to achieve the highest possible happiness here and after life.

Do you believe life has a meaning? if not then I'm sorry that this life is meaningless and irrelevant to you, because there is so much to life that it can't be. If so, then seek that meaning and do what you feel is right to you.

There are several things to consider. First, most people are under the impression that there are two choices they have when we die: The first option is heaven, which most people don't realize is only an option for 144,000 chosen by God to rule with Christ over the earth (Rev. 14:1) Further, some believe that the 144,000 represent literal Jews. (Rev. 7:4-8) This would have been the case had Israel not lost favor with God. But since they did, this option was no longer strictly for the Jews, but it was opened up to people from all nations as well. (Rom. 2:28, 29; Gal. 3:26-29) Everyone else has the option of making up the "great crowd" who will reside on the earth. (Rev. 7:9, 10).

The second option is hell where it is believed a bad person would burn for their sins. The truth of the matter according to the Bible is that "hell" actually refers to the common grave of mankind. Technically, everyone who dies will go there. Its Gehenna (a/k/a The Valley of Hinnom) that is referred to as "the lake of fire." Gehenna was a place outside the city of Jerusalem where child sacrifices were held for a long time. In the first century, however, it was used as an incinerator for bodies of dead animals. Sulfur and brimstone were added to assist the burning. The bodies of executed criminals who were considered unworthy of a burial were burned there as well. So that's where the fiery hell comes from.

Second, we're all imperfect which means that every one of us is defective mentally, physically and spiritually. However, since God's purpose is to restore us to perfection, your thoughts on eternal life being hell would probably not apply. You'd be able to think perfectly, so you'd be able to take in knowledge of whatever subject(s) you choose and fully understand. Then you'd have the ability to be successful in every course you choose to pursue (assuming its in harmony with God's standards, of course). Further, though you currently feel the need for things to have a beginning, middle and end, God didn't create us that way. He put "time indefinite" in our hearts. (Eccl. 3:11) The way you feel is probably due to imperfection.

As for accepting Christ into our heart, I can only say that I really get annoyed when people say that phrase. Its such a cookie-cutter phrase ... that and the "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved!!!" phrase. They both really grate on my imperfect nerves. Its necessary, however, for a person to put faith in the ransom sacrifice of Christ. That was God's means of salvation for us and if we don't acknowledge that then we're basically telling God that the sacrifice of his only-begotten son's life is worthless to us and further, that we don't value the gift of life that he gave us enough to maintain it.

Religion is a system of indoctrination to intimidate the insecure, for without religion their is no control and without control there is no power. so the concept of fear of God its wipped up to appear as the truth and then others are enrolled into that truth and go along like sheep.

Power however is a very misconstrued word, it has nothing to do with manipulation , domination or control. It has to do with things happening naturally like Ghandi, martin luther king, ghorbechov.

True power is telling the truth, that way you dont have to remember anything as nothing goes away until the absolute truth is told about it!

Heaven is on Earth if you observe the hell we create for ourselves through stinking thinking and ignorance.

Ignorance being the root of all evil not money!

Eternity in heaven means being always in the presence of our Lord and sin will have no more dominion over us.

whereas Hell is a place of the damned where they will be tortured for eternity. This is why God is gracious and long suffering towards us as He does not want anyone to perish.

You answered your own question in a comment to one of your responses "Why do I bother?" I think that is a great answer. All you really want is to elicit the responses that you get or you wouldn't ask your questions in this format. The wonderful thing about free will is just that, you have a choice, you can believe or not believe and if you are willing to face the consequences of your choice then that's okay. Remember that just as we Christians probably won't change your mind, you won't change ours either.

I would definitely choose hell over heaven for many reasons. Heaven just isn’t for me, being happy all the time with no problems will be extremely boring. Human nature forces us to have drama and problems so we can solve them. Hell presents many problems and drama so it would be an exciting place. Don’t threaten me with burning torturous pits with demons stabbing me. Hell in the bible is a place away from god and all the bad stuff was made up by PEOPLE like Dante’s Inferno.

Plus I don't want to be with ignorant drones forever.

Eternal life with Christ in heaven is very different than living forever on earth as you know life now. ....Picture the best possible scenario you can imagine, then consider it would be much better than that. As it is written, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him."
