There is no cure for pimples. Some people are just more prone to them than others. I have moderate acne and the best thing I did was go to a dermatologist. I use two medications on my face, one in the morning and one at night. My acne has cleared up. I only get a few pimples here and there. My doctor did explain that what you eat does not contribute to acne. It is the oils and dirt. DO NOT wash your face more than twice a day. If you do, you can actually make it worse b/c your skin will produce more oil. If you only have a few pimples and not acne, wash in the morning with regular soap and use an over-the-counter pimple cream after-wards. Make sure you wash your face before bed, and use the pimple cream again.

Here are some REALLY good, and very inexpensive ways to treat most acne at home. Try each method (unless you’re allergic to the ingredients) until you find one that works best for you. Good luck!!!!!!!!
1. Put toothpaste on your acne before going to bed. (Make sure it is paste not gel). It should reduce the swelling of acne noticeably.
2. Dab egg whites on your acne and leave on for 20 minutes or overnight. It’s supposed to pull the infection out of the blemish.
3. Wash acne infected areas twice a day with warm salt water. This reduces oils in the skin and helps to dry the acne up without further agitation.
4. Use ice on acne before going to bed. This works best on pimples that have not yet formed a head. It reduces swelling and helps to prevent scarring.
5. Wash and dab acne with cotton balls that have been soaked in vinegar. Let dry; do not wash off immediately.
6. Place strawberries leaves over your acne and the alkalinity will help to reduce the swelling.
7. Try taking salmon oil supplements (found in health food stores and vitamin shops).
8. apply rose water mixed wid lemon juice in the ratio of 2:1...on ur effected area.....
9)put some drops of lemon juice n rose water in the bath tub ...when u hv 2 take bath
10)when u wake up in Morning b4 breakfast take one Glass of bearable hot water mixed wid 2 tables spoons of lemon juice

Wash your pillow cases and make sure you are washing your scalp when you wash your hair. I notice that I will break out in those same spots when I need to wash my pillow cases. The best thing for me for breakouts is baking soda. Put a bit in your hand or on a wash cloth, add a few drops of water til it's a paste and wash your face with it. It exfoliates and the baking soda loosens out the dirt and kills the bacteria. A great mask with the baking soda is to mix equal amounts of baking soda and orange juice together and slather it on your face, leave on for twenty minutes (it will tingle a bit) then rinse off. I do it whenever I start to break out and it clears everything up. The orange juice has vitamin C which brightens skin and tightens pores.

Pimples are a cause of not only some harmonal changes in the body, but also due to the oily (nature) of skin.
The best way to avoid pimples - due to oily skin is to keep washing the face regularly, it is not necessary to use soap everytime. U can use mild face cleanser or some time even water. This will reduce the temp of the skin on the face, along with removal of oily stuff from the sebaceous gland in the skin- making the face clean.

1. Put toothpaste on your pimple before you go to bed, should help reduce swelling overnight. Make sure it is the paste not the gel. One of the most popular acne home remedies.
2. Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the acne.
3. Apply a paste of fresh methi (fenugreek) leaves over the face every night for 10-15 minutes and washed with warm water. This will prevent acne, pimples, blackheads, and wrinkles.
4. Place strawberry leaves on the acne, the alkalinity helps to reduce the swelling.
5. Extract juice of one lemon and mix with equal quantity of rose water. Apply this mixture on the face and let it stay for about half an hour. Wash the face with fresh water. About 15 days application helps cure acne, pimples and reduces blemishes and scars.
6. Another method is to massage the face with the skin of lemon before washing with lukewarm water.
7. Apply fresh mint juice over the face every night for the treatment of acne, pimples, insect stings, eczema, scabies, & other skin infections.
8. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. At least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables should be included in your diet. All acne home remedies should include a healthy diet.
9. A couple of garlic cloves, crushed and dabbed on the face 1-2 times a day. One of the smellier acne home remedies!
10. Home face wash for acne: Mix together 1 or 2mls each of the following: witch hazel, tea-tree and sweet fennel essential oils, adding essential oil of geranium for women and essential oil of rosewood for men. Mix with 300mls of water. Shake before use, as the oils will float on top of the water during storage. Dab affected areas with cotton wool two or three times a day. The oils will clean and unclog giving antibiotic-like protection to the skin.
11. Apply fresh lemon juice on the affected area overnight. Wash off with warm water next morning.
12. Use 2-3 tsp. dried basil leaves to 1 cup boiling water. Steep 10-20 minutes. Cool, and apply with cotton ball.
13. Grind orange peel with some water to a paste and apply on affected parts. One of the best acne home remedies.
14. Clean face with cotton wool dipped in rose water 2-3 times a day.
15. Mix 1 teaspoon lemon juice in 1 teaspoon finely ground cinnamon powder and apply on affected areas frequently.
