im not talking about just a stuffy nose or something a tissue can take care of... its all the time being unable to breath out of either nostril or most of the time its both nostrils. i found that nasal spray temporarily works, but it makes you dependent on it and is worse in the long run, also i am unable to constantly purchase it due to my budgit. its literally gotton to the point where i feel like i am in hell, i cant function properly, i cant sleep, and the pressure on my sinuses are so intense it actually causes some pain...any suggestions to help would be appreciated

You either have a serious sinus infection, or an allergic reaction that is making your sinus membrane to contract to the point of suffocation. There are several respiratory disorders that can cause this, I would advise you to see an ENT spec. asap the only quick fix I know of, would be to have your sinus cavity cauterized.

Look at the bridge of your nose. at the base Probe it with your finger you will find a spot that hurts. Press on the spot for a minute then let go. It costs nothing at all it will help your sinus. Also you must probe points at the opening of the nostrils and the upper lip. press on it described above that will give you relief and if you mail me I will send you a photo of the exact spots

I have something called chronic nasle congestion...It is due to enlarged adnoides(a gland in your nasle cavity) this sounds like a possibility. get it checked out by an ear nose and throught specialest because if its bad enough they have to take out the adnoides to ease breathing...Do you wake up feeling like you havent slept at all sometimes?

Probably a 14 day course of antibiotics. In addtion what type of nasal spray are you taking.? The most effective would be a 'steroid" nasal spray like "Flonase' (shrinks nasal swelling and allows drainage). If you don;t have access to an MD, you could try OTC Claritin to see if an allergen in your environment is triggering it. (cigarette smoke, cat hair, mold, etc.) Good Luck.
