Birth control is OK in Islam because Islam is for everything that is in the best interest of people. Birth control is in the best interest of the mother's health and the babies' health as well. It is in the best interest of the family - less pressures and more care for the children - and accordingly is in the best interet of the whole community. Does this make sense?
