do they still make Stemerol chewing gum, it contains liquorice?

It was sold as the sportsman's chewing gum. Strong tasting and lasted a long time for flavour . could be a little laxative if chewed in large quantities

Stimorol. Yes, I remember that, I used to love it. Haven't seen it around for a good few years though. Let me know if you find some.
