Yes, Jesus has foretold of many signs of His second coming and we have seen them coming to pass in our generation!
Therefore, remember what Jesus said: "In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world!"
God Bless!

No that belief is totally wrong. The Bible clearly teaches that the last state of the curch is a fallen away state, not a state of revival. Revelation 3 tells us the final state of the church before Christ returns will be "lukewarm" He tells us that people will strongly believe that they are in revival but they are decieved and are not `"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. 16 `So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth. 17 `Because you say, "I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing," and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, "
1 Corinthians 10 gives us four characteristics of the end time apostate chuch. They are:
1. It will be a singing church - everyone will be hung up on singing to make themselves feel good.
2. The church will love the world. The world's music, the world's fashions, the world's education, the world's enertainment, the world's material things, etc.
3. It will be a church that rejects deep Bible truth and concentrates on experiences that make give them pleasure
4 It will be a church that thinks everyone can have their own way to God and there are no rules for worship.
This modern concept of a great outpouring of the Spirit of God in the last days came from the teaching of Charles Fox in the early 1900's and is really is not Bible supported at all. I really think that Chriostians today believe that the Holy Spirit has been waiting for 2000 years for man to invent the amplifier so that He could have His great outpouring. If you took electronics out of the church you wouldn't have your revival at all.

God never stopped pouring out his spirit. Revival, or better put, renewal never left. It is a daily process, one that has continued unfailingly in the hearts of believers for two thousand years. It is NOT new to our age.

Well if you look at the book of Daniel and count from 607 BCE the destruction of Jerusalem, you would get to the year 1914. If you believe that at that time only, the world really changed for the worst and has gotten worse since then you would hopefully agree we have been in the last days for over 90 years.

When I was in the 3d grade we were told the world would end when the planets all lined up in a certain way and that would be around 1999...hmmm...are we dead and dont know it??
I think its like that REM song, the end of the world as we know it. The world has become a not so nice place to live sometimes and you need alot of positive thoughts to survive in it. You didnt used to need that, the competiion was less, the ideas were not so crazy and neither were the people.
