You can fast, then introduce foods SLOWLY to figure out which ones make you ill.
Your doctor can also test you for various allergies and sensitivities.
I have an ulcer and some foods definitely trigger it. I take medication at night to settle my stomach. I also try not to eat after 7pm.

I used to also suffer from indigestion. Now I take a Tagamet before each meal and no more problems. You can also get generic brands that are just as good and are cheaper.

would that be spicy or acidic foods? if so alot of us do. try to avoid those foods. you can buy prilosec o.v.c. it is pretty expensive but after a few days it really works. if you keep having problems see a doctor to make sure you don't have a serious problem. good luck.
