History proves time and again that Dictatorships in time
lose sight of reality with the power that they hold and a feeling of
invincibility envelops them.. Mussolini, Hitler, Hirohito, Sadam,
Kim, etc.. N. Korea with their million man Army and an Economy that is almost on its knees allready stands defiant behind one mans mad ramblings in a mad power quest to have
a nuclear weapon and fire missiles as a show of power etc...
instead of addressing his countries needs. It's hard to fight when you leave the table hungry.....

They are just as much of a threat as are the Pakistani and the Hindus. Both of those nations have nuclear capability and that region is just as stable as N. Korea is. N. Korea isn't dumb. Rather they are as intelligent as Hussein is. Hussein knew the boundaries but like a spoiled brat kept pushing the US/UN to get his ways by making threats that werent carried out. This went on for so long that the UN/US got tired of his BS. N. Korea is using the same tactic. They arent stupid enough to risk genocide and complete elimination of N. Korea. It's a game of chicken.

It just really worrying that such an unstable man could possess such power! What can Bush do? Cant just back down to the rants of aggression yet Korea is Geographically to close to China for the US to issue any threats and Kim knows this!

Yes, I do think that they are a threat to at least Asia, and it could spread throughout the world. While they do not have the means yet to deliver it to the states they could sell the technology to those that could carry it in. I think it needs to be dealt with by the Chinese but whether it will or not is up to them.

The threat is to south korea and japan. Both will go nuclear in response- simply because US protection is not reliable (thank you, all you "cut and run" fans). If japan rearms- china will go bonkers and build up its military. If they do, russia and india will do the same. when india starts arming, pakistan will do the same again.
Then all this needs is a small spark.

A crude nuke and a weapons delivery system? The rocket technology itself increase the number of direct enemies immensely. How far will their rocket go? 500 miles? 1000 miles? 2500 miles? You want to guess? Your right! Why worry? I'm sure you could fix the whole problem with..... lets see.......... a Yahoo Answers question. Thanks for saving us all.

The true problem is, if they possess Nukes,... Is the fact they could sell them to other Terrorist organizations. That's the problem.
