Satan is “the ruler of this world,” “the god of this system of things.” (John 12:31; 2 Corinthians 4:4) Part of Satan’s world is the earth-wide system of false religion he has built up for centuries, including Christendom and her clergy. The Bible calls this worldwide system of false religion “Babylon the Great, the mother of the [spiritual] harlots and of the disgusting things of the earth.” (Revelation 17:5) The roots of today’s false religions go back to the ancient city of Babylon, which was steeped in false religion and in God-dishonoring doctrines and practices. That is why the counterpart of ancient Babylon is called Babylon the Great, the world empire of false religion.

Regarding religious Babylon, God’s Word says: “In her was found the blood of prophets and of holy ones and of all those who have been slaughtered on the earth.” (Revelation 18:24)

How are this world’s religions responsible for the blood of all those slaughtered?
In that all these religions—Christendom’s churches and non-Christian religions alike—have supported, condoned, or even taken the lead in the wars of the nations; they have also persecuted and killed God-fearing people who disagreed with them.

It is not the religions which cause the trouble, it's the big boys at the top of them who keep stiring the masses who have been brainwashed from birth to their particular religion. If they were all able to take a step back and see the top brass for what it is ( Money grabbing) there would be a lot less trouble. It's not just religion, look at football. It is ok cheering your team on but when the masses are brainwashed to think it is life or death that is when the trouble really kicks in.

Let's see. Communist countries officially had no religion, especially Albania. France is a secular state. The Third Reich rose to power through Nietzschian philosophy and persecuted all religious groups.

So I see a flaw in your argument. Also, as Christianity is about peace and love, about not retaliating against wrongs done, I do not see how a practising Christian can cause a war. NOTE I said PRACTISING Christian, in other words, one who lives according to the teachings of Jesus Christ and His Apostles, not someone who twists words of love and comes up with hate.

First, while its true that MOST wars are caused by religion, its a generalization to say that ALL are. Second, since there is only one TRUE religion (Eph. 4:4, 5), the wars that are caused by religion are caused by FALSE religion. So in answer to your question, anyone who is religious and involved in war actually IS following the Devil and just doesn't know it.

War is natural for both humans and animals alike. Its neither influenced by a higher power or an evil deity. Wolf packs, lion prides and many other animals kills each other in a different "war". Humans have been fighting each other since the dawn of time when they knew nothing of God or the devil.

Since the bible says this world is lyeing in the power of the wicked one, Satan is in control of all governments. Hence is why Christians stay neutral in political affairs or be no part of the world as Jesus said. Including this is religion, The bible says get out of her, which is all false religion. This means acknowledging according to what the bible criteria says who are Gods Representatives on the earth today. So it is possible to tell, and acknowledge Satan's religion(s) and Gods.

What a sweeping inaccurate statement !

Where is your evidence to support this?

Name one war started over a religious issue! Then look deeper into the real cause.

It's real easy to make a generalisation like your question and not provide any suuporting evidence. This shows that you don't do any research and just want to ask the same question that appears all too frequently.

There is One who will end all wars...as it is written, "In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many peoples will come and say, ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.’ The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.”

And again, it is written, “Every warrior’s boot used in battle and every garment rolled in blood will be destined for burning, will be fuel for the fire. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders…Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end.”

yeah well the word religion means "a system of social coherence based on a common group of beliefs"

So to place everyone under the one frame of thinking is not correct, because within that frame of thinking lies all sorts of anomalies, too many to make us clones, of one thinking, so there will always be differences, thank God.

Other wise we would be robots, so you need to except those differences, because, if we don't we just end up hating each other for no good reason, other than the differences that make is imporatnt to each other.

Enough said :)
