They are a team in a business, she works for him and they went in together for a gift card for a co-workers wedding which we were planing to go to and now we aren't. He forgot to sign my name along with their's.

I don't see any problem with it at all. Why should there be?

I don't understand what you are saying about not signing your name. Does that relate to the main question in some way I am missing?

no it isnot appropriate to go in together for a gift card with a female co-worker when you r a male

It's just fine. what's the issue in there? mistaken to be lovers? i guess that doesn't matter. i send gift cards with my male friends' name on it too.
