Go to your nearest bookstore and find 'The Satanic Verses'. You might be shocked at where you find it. You see, bookstores tend to divide books into two categories: "fiction" and "non-fiction". The first category consists of works created out of this unusual human trait called "imagination" and include things that are not true.

You may also be amazed to learn that there is no school called Hogwarts and that elves and orcs don't really exist. I know this is a lot of information to take in all at once.

"The Satanic Verses" is an interweaving of several stories. One of the lead characters experiences occasional dreams of a character clearly _modeled after_ Muhammad but who is _not_ Muhammad. You know, again, 'fiction' (i.e. 'not real'). This being fiction, the character's wives have no reflection on the wives of any real person.

I just wonder why do you read anti-islamic books instead of reading truly Quran and seeking the truth some where other than anti islamic books, websites, movies, people etc.they will go to hell without doubt.will you be pleased if we say the same thing with your prophet?of course we are not that stupid.we respect all religions and all prophets.God will never forgive evil people like Salman Rushdi.hope he'll burn in hell for the rest of his life.Islam is a great religion full of peace and honesty.if some people don't do what it says it doesn't mean that it's religion's fault.and please don't insult prophets.it would be one of the most unforgivable sins.all prophets are pure chosen people of God.
plus what do you call "pre-marrage" sex? in Islam it's the same as prostitution.but unfortunately in your country it's OK and common.Ain't it?

If he has said that, or thinks so, then he has to just wait for this short life (50-60 yrs) to end and suffer the aftereffects in the eternal life.

well as a former muslim, u have to look at mohammeds life. dont u think that someone who is a messenger of god, has to live a saintly life. the messenger of god cant go around sleeping and marrying girls, he cant murder ppl. etc. muslims need to understand this.
