I have wavy hair that is very stubborn. I FINALLY got some good advise on how to blow dry it straight.
1. Use a smoothing system shampoo conditioner. I love bedhead control freak shampoo and conditioner. It feels slimy sort of but it gives good slippage for styling. A less pricy option is Pantene sleek and shine. Very good also.
2. Then use a lignt straightning gel, I love control freak serum. because it is great for if it is curly or straight. and A few drops of biosilk serum. (a less pricy option is frizeez serum) and then finger blow dry until your hair is 85-95% percent dry.
3.Using a big fat rollerbrush, and (ladies you do not have to spend a fortune on one, I have a conair one that I have dragged around for 5 years) section out your hair and dry completely. They key is leaving no moisture in hair.
4. If you have any super stubborn peices, touch up with flat iron. Minimizing flat iron use keeps hair healthy and shiny!
5. Put a few drops of biosilk in the palm of your hand and smooth from bottom to top.
6. Use a humidity resistant hairspray. A good one is good ol sebastian shaper plus and lightly spray.
7.Voila!! smooth shiny straight hair that is soft to touch!

This actually isn't a hair product, but it works. I have extra thick straight hair that gets super frizzy in the summer. All you need is extra virgin olive oil. Rub it throughout your hair, or if you have a somewhat oily scalp, just from your ears down. Leave it in for as long as you can stand to (generally a half hour to an hour) and wash out with shampoo ONCE and condition as usual. Your hair will be super healthy looking and shiny and it tames any frizzies. It does NOT make your hair look oily and has no smell once washed out. It has worked wonders for me and my friends and family!

ATTTETION!! the best way to have shiny glossy hair is using "serum" its a transparent hard liquid product for when hair is wet and when dry aswell and right after straigtening your hair if you put just a tiny bit on your hand and then just even it out in your hair trust me you will see the difference, you can buy serum in any hairdressing store or salon, trust me it works its better than anything you may come across.

I reccommmend:
Pantene Sleek & Shine shampoo and conditioner if this doesnt work on its own try usings a little bit of frizz ease serum.
The problem might be the way you're drying your hair. I had this reccommended to me but my hair is too short to do this. :(
Try blowdrying at a downward angle from the top of your head to the length and use a large round brush when drying.
Best of luck

I have wavy hair too and i always use a good shampoo, condition the ends only, then either blow dry with the nozzle facing down to blow the hair shafts down or put it in to two plaits and let it dry naturally. dont comb it too much (static) and only use a little bit of product. the shampoo is elvive (the pink one!) and i find the best product ive used although i dont use alot is a serum of some sort!!

Use a bit of GHD Tri-style and blowdry your hair upside down, this will make it straight and shiny - even better if you go over it with ceramic straightneres once you tip your head back up the right way

Try some products from the MOP range, they are fab. You can get them in some John Lewis stores, but I recommend you order some from QVC, you get 30 days to test them out that way. They are quality and made up of organic products, no crap like in high street stuff.

oh man.. i dont know what kind of hair you have, but i'm mixed black/white. so its pretty and curly but not "nappy".
so i cant put all of that grease and stuff in it.
ok.. the absolute BEST straightener out there is the Remington Wet-2-Straight Ceramic straightener. it is.. AMAZING. and i use oil sheen spray.. and a little Pink Lotion.
trust me.. it is the only thing (besides a for-real-wrinkled-clothes-household-iron) that works and gets it nice and straight. with bouncy movability too!!
i SWEAR. i can show you pictures. lol
