I've been saying that for years!! You've got this dude running around talking about peace and love, wearing sandals (I know they all did back in those days, humor me), did alot of traveling around and lived outside alot. Wonder if those robes were made of hemp???

Well certainly not a hippie in the usual sense!

I feel that he or she might be a normal regular person like you and me who hopes and cares that we will be able to be the best possible things for ourselves and others.

But we never know when Christ might appear to us, he might be a homeless person he might be the person who pisses you off at the petrol station, you just don't know.

As far as "wise" I think that a good dose of common sense would follow, and just treating other people how you would like to be treated is an important thing, bite your tongue but don't turn the other cheek to often.

I think Christ has a sense of humour and we should maintain our own sense of humour and humanity.

Should we be in awe of Christ (in reference to an ancient wise type person")

Of him, yes I would be in awe if I met him in person.

Of his Father's ability to kick start things and essentially leave us to our own devices.

Deep respect and confusion but faith in that which I have no control over and never will.

I suppose the next question might be is there a God?

Christ never struck me He loves me, and no hippie died for me either. He is King of Kings, Lord of Lords, God Almighty, not to be blasphemed. Why not accept Him into your life and see the changes He'll make, want a hectic roller-coaster ride. Get to know him or are you afraid of the Truth?

Kind of, yeah. If he was anything like the stories say he was then he was a good man and way ahead of his time. But to me that's all he was, a man.
