About 10 grams + whatever oil you fry it in - say 5 grams

What they said - 5 grams, plus whatever fat you fry it in.

Up until recently I never fried an egg in anything other than butter, but on holiday in Greece I did what the locals do and tried frying one for no longer than 80 seconds in really, really hot olive oil, so hot the egg spits like mad. It was brilliant, not the mild indulgent thing you get from frying in butter, more crispy around the edges and not at all unpleasantly runny. Olive oil has a lot of health benefits, more so than butter at any rate (mind you, butter is better for you than margarine).

Incidentally, the evidence suggests that although eggs are fairly high in cholesterol, our bodies find it hard to absorb cholesterol from eggs, which is quite handy. You can have an egg a day and not worry too much about putting on weight or having a heart attack.

A large egg has 5 grams of fat and a tablespoon of vegetable oil has 13 grams. If you drain off as much oil as you can on kitchen paper it should be about 15g altogether. I hope you find this helpful, as I notice there are a few silly answers, as usual :)
