When you can provide emotional, financial, physical and mental stability for a baby then you are old enough. Some people will never be old enough. Some people just see children as a way of getting their own council house. If you have a house, a regular and steady income and emotional support from friends, family and a partner then you should be fine.

Today 20 is considered very young to have a baby. The average age is like 27 or something. In saying that I had my first at 21 and second at 23. Their Dad and I married when our first turned 1 and we have not looked back. Their are definate advantages to starting a family early (provided ofcourse you are in a position to do so, like stable relationship and financially secure.) When my youngest turns 18 I will only be 41! I have missed out on doing a lot of things other young people do, like travel etc, however I will be able to do those things after the kids have grown and left home! It can be hard sometimes too. I was the first of my friends to have kids, and it was hard not having friends going through the same thing to share the experience with. Even now trying to meet people of a similar age with kids the same age is difficult, and it can feel lonely.
If you are thinking about starting a family, there is no need to rush. You are only 20, so time is on your side.

I think it's too young. At 20, you should be having fun, do some traveling etc. The early 20's should be a time to explore for the first time as an adult.

not before 18 minimum. Until then you are not even allowed to drive(australia) so you should not be having babies till you can drive a car to get them to the doctor if they need one. By then high school is finished and you are classed as an adult. I still think in majority of cases this is still too young but not before this preferably

no 20 is not too young. it all depends on you. if you feel you can support the baby then you are ready. in fact,i think, any woman is old enough to have a child once she starts having her period.the only thing that hinders us these days is our level of maturity.and our financial, emotional (and so on) stability

You have a baby when YOU'RE ready - only you can know when you're ready. your body was ready when you started your periods - but ask yourself, are you in a stable relationship, are you financially secure and able to provide, have you achieved what you wanted, why do you want a baby? Have a good long think - you'll know the answer to your own Q

I was 21 when i had my son. It was a planned pregnancy. But still yet 21 was young, i could have waited but i wouldn't take anything in the world in place of my son.
If you are ready then go ahead and start a family.
Good luck
