Ask his pediatrician about his weight and how much you should be feeding him. Don't listen to anyone on here saying he's too fat, only your Dr. can tell you if he's at a good weight for his size and body type. Plus at 18 months he's old enough to not be nursed anymore. Get him on a regular diet of foods he can't choke on and milk.

Each child has its own body frame so nobody can tell you if the child is overweight or not unless they are qualified to say so. Anyway an 18 month old baby can have upto 3 main meals plus 2 mini meals. As for Nursing it is not necessary for you do so after 12 months because there is not much nourishment coming form at that stage for the child. Instead you can train it to formula and you need to take break as well otherwise it will weaken you too.

It is commendable that you are still feeding him and you should try to continue it as long as possible. What the child should have apart from your milk and that too how much depends on how much you feed him. I think it is best to consult a doc. Or better you can get advice from women_health@rediffmail.com I had got got help from there once. Good Luck.
