I'm 104 now, and I want to be under 100. Is that a good goal? I'm 13 yrs old and 5'5" tall.

Use a BMI chart. That stands for Body Mass Index. You enter your hieght and wieght, and it will show you where you are on the chart, and which range is healthy - it will tell you if you are over or underwieght, and by how much. On this website is a BMI calculator designed especially for teenagers;

You should fall into the healthy range somewhere, and this BMI chart is a lot more accurate than a normal adult one.

I don't think you should lose any weight. I am 5'4' and I weigh 125

that is definately not fat. At 13, I am afraid you are paying too much attention to what the MEDIA thinks you should weigh. Too many way too skinny models should not be role models for 13 year olds. Your body is still growing and changing. Just eat healthy get good workouts and most of all love the individual you are!!

No, that is not a good idea. For your height, you are already considered a bit too thin.
Plus, at 13, you are still growing. You should definitely NOT try to lose weight at that age, because it can cause growth problems for both your body and your brain. Being anorexic and stupid is not cool.

No offense, but you may have an eating disorder if you think you need to lose weight!! Maybe you need councelling?? Or have you recently endured a high fever??? Maybe mild brain damage is the problem??

No, it's not a good goal, now please stop torturing yourself. You don't need to lose weight, you sound like you have some serious issues with your body image and weight loss ain't genna solve them! You want to start losing weight and making yourself ill, you'll regret it I promise you from personal experience. Take care.

Weight and young girls is such a sad thing that is sweaping our nation.

Acording to your BMI you are already underweight, this is somthing that should be fixed so you are healthly. If you lose weight you would be extermly unhealthy and there are such horriable things that can come out of being underweight, death being one of them.

well you should not put so much pressure on your self at thirteen but no five pounds I dont think would be to much as long as you loose it the right way
