It would be much easier if people would add the age or ages of the people involved ,,,,,,, So I'm just guessing that the son in question is a young man possibly still in school maybe ,,, There are males that have feminine mannerisms of some kind or another to some degree or another ,,, That doesn't make them a homosexual at all ,,,, There are males like that that are married with children ,,,,,, Homosexuality is a condition of the mind not the body ,,,,, For those that are homosexual ,,,, it's in the mind first ,,,, and what they do with their body's after they've decided that they are that way will naturally follow ,,,,,,, It is a hard and cruel situation for some young men still in school to be this way or have this type of behavior ,,,,,, Kids can be some of the cruelest people on earth sometimes ,,,,,, School boys with this kind of trait have a hard way to go more times than knot ,,,,, As for his interest in girls ,,,, Well here again it would be easier to make a determination on that if you'd have given his age ,,,,,, But if he's still in school I would say to just give it time ,,,,, He may or may not meet a girl that will take to him ,,,,,He might not meet anyone until he's in college or maybe sometime after that ,,,,,, Just don't be so ready to put a label on him until you know what's in the package ,,,,,, yoda said that

I'm sorry. You MUST learn to accept who you are, because it is 99.99999% you will like guys for the rest of your life. Another thing you need to know is that even counseling and "support" is not going to make you straight, if anything, it will make things worse (than the stress you are feeling now), it will make you delusional of who you really are, and that can cause lots of problems. Think about this: if god is so perfect, why did he make you in a way that would contradict his own teachings? You are basically telling me you are a mistake of god thus contradicting the 'god is perfect' thing. It just doesn't make sense. So to round it all up, if you want to live a happy life, learn to live with your orientation. OH, and I almost forgot. Like I am, you are a 14 YEAR OLD MALE. Some consider this to be the horniest period of a guy's life (no kidding), because of all the hormones... so it is highly recommended you masturbate regularly. Religion is not an excuse for your own health.

There are several terms
"camp"
or "effete"
If he isn't interested in having sex with people of the same sex as himself, then he isn't gay.
I'm sure that people will still call him gay though. It's just the nature of the way people like to label things.
Don't despair. Girls don't mind that sort of thing and while he is not showing much interest at present things can change.

It sounds like he is A-Sexual with a feminine personality. That would mean he has no sexual desire toward either sex, but in our society the fact that he acts feminine and displays no interest in women basically gets him labeled as gay anyway. I think your friend should talk to his son.
