My mother used to make a chocolate cake that contained saurkraut (pickled cabbage). You'd never guess it from the taste (it just tasted very moist and very rich), but it was huge fun telling guests what was in the cake!

Was in vietnam, they did a dogmeat clear soup, had bits of cabbage and onion and bits of dog. It should be noted only certain breeds are eaten. Dog actually didnt taste much different from pork chops. It was cut into thin approx 1 inch square slices and appeared to have been fried or something.

There was also some rabbit or fox cant remember in a honey glaze which was nice.

There was also this terrine that they made out of blood which had bits of gristle, skin and meat in, in the central highlands it had more meat and less skin. I hate skin and gristle yuk.

For breakfast you have "pho" which is big bowl of broth with noodles, and usually leg of pork in it, was nice, except its absolutly boiling anyway.

A combination of things from Sainsbury's, and the strangest thing about it was that it cost me so much more than the same combination of things in Asda, Tesco or Morrison's. Do your publicity and market research elsewhere, evil empire!

Toast with marmite, peanut butter and blackberry jam.

It sounds foul but is really quite tasty - the sweet and sour is a good combination.
