I really like this guy. We talked for almost 5 hours yesterday. I'm talking to him now and it seems like there's nothing left to talk about. I would like to engage in a more meaningful conversation without being too serious or annoying..

A man's mouth is like a clam shut tight. Pretty tough to pry open. Try being his friend for some time before asking him to share his problems. A man only shares his feelings and problems with his closest friends. After a few nights of good casual chats, the guy will be all ready to open up more to you.

Avoid probing questions the first few times you guys chat.

ONLY 5 hours mmm

seriously dont force a conversation --- when someone says what do you want to talk about you dry up

so just enjoy each others company and the talk will flow

You can't, you just have to wait till he's ready or you will come off as annoying no matter how much your trying not to be. All you can tell him is .. If you ever want to talk about anything I'll always listen.

You talked to him for 5 hours> Good grief! I hope you were like out on a date...surely not on the phone! Go somewhere...the more you are together the more you will be able to ask...it's that simple.

More meaningful would be more serious- don't push or be needy- End the conversation if you are done talking or if he is- don't bug him away- there will be another day! take care D

Did you ever consider that maybe he just doesn't have that much in the line of feelings? Not everyone has complicated emotions, some folks just don't have that much to relate in that department.

take your time...spread out your relationship over days

It usually takes me a while before I realize how I feel about a girl, so give him some time to get to know you and to let it sink-in or settle when he's not with you or talking to you.
