The church (not just christian, but the majority of them) forbade sex simply as a matter of control; disease and population being the primary matters. Sex between married partners was generally not frowned upon. To the contrary, it was encouraged because it forced faithful followers to bring more faithful into the fold.
Sex started getting looked down upon though, due to the hangups religion as a whole placed on it. Those hangups continue on to this day.

It can be traced back to the Protestant revolt which contains a heavy presence of Manacheanism or Docetism, heresies which taught that all physical matter was evil...therefore sex is dirty.
It is partially related to the heresy of Icononclasm which states that no physical object can be used in worship. (even though God commanded that objects be used [not worshipped] in the Temple)
Modern iconoclasm is found in some of the wacked church cults that calls anything having any form to be idolotrous", such as a Nativity scene or crucifix.
It's amazing how much of the same old heresies keep popping up, just the combinations are different.

It is not a sin, rather sex between married persons is a divine gift from God. Genesis 1:28, Ruth 1:9 and 1Corinthians 7:2, 7
Some have misunderstood the account of Adam and Eve and the first sin of disobedience. They use this to perpetrate their incorrect notion. The "nakedness" that Adam and Eve where ashamed of was not because of their bare skin, but because they knew God would immediately "see" they had sinned when He saw them. Their countenance would exposed, or lay bare, their condition Genesis 3:7-13

I would agree with you. It is not immoral to have sex after marriage, but when people are immature they giggle and so on because they can't handle it yet. It is also a sign of what the day and age is doing with what God created for only married couples.

no religion considers healthy sex between husband and wife as dirty and impure. only prudes consider it so. psychologists say people who suffer from inferiority complex and had failed to satisfy their life partners criticize sex as dirty. they are proverbial soured grapes. if some people had traumatic experiences in their child hood like rape and abused sexually by people of their gender in their latter life hate sex.

i've got in no way widely used a guy who became getting "insanely loopy oral intercourse" to prevail in out to the part to envision for a mate before they reached all the way down to envision who became traveling Johnny. i'm uncertain what faith has to do with the definition. in case you probably did not consent, it became a minimum of presumptuous, however the alcohol could be mitigating in court docket. If it did not provide up once you pronounced no, then it became rape, no mitigation in touch.
