chocolate or graham crackers cut to size, covered in icing for bucket; cables from twizzlers or fruit-roll up strings. oreo for wheels, candy corn for vehicle lights or safety cones; marshmallows for boulders; candles for smokestack, worms and oreo crumbs for dirt; green shredded coconut for grass Great theme idea.

Marzipan
1 cup confectioner's sugar
2 cups ground almonds
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1/8 tsp. salt
3 drops almond extract
Mix all ingredients together and knead until smooth. Cover with a damp towel for 24 hours before shaping.
You can use the left overs to make little candies and the kids will love them. Or stuff candied cherries and coat with chocolate for Christmas.

here is a thought. buy some minature candy bars, and this takes practice. But scoop out the inside of the candy bar and then you have a bucket. Or you could go buy some almond bark, basically fake flavored chocolate, it usually comes it squares, but it comes in a tray, that would make the perfect mold for the bucket, melt some almond bark, grease up one square of the tray, cut away from the rest of the tray, and pour your melted bark on the outside of the tray as evenly as possible
