Can Jesus Christ really hear our prayers? I want so badly to believe, but I can't. I just can't do it. Can I trust in Christ?

I'm a Christian, just so you know, and I've got a few answers for you. First off, I admire your desire to search for answers, and how badly you want to believe in God- that right there shows so much! To start, yes, Jesus definitely hears each and every prayer we have. He hears a lot more than that too, Jesus is always with us and always knows what's going on in our lives. He's waiting at the door of our hearts, wanting us to let him in, to talk to him and create that kind of a relationship with him. So yes, he hears our prayers. Prayer doesn't have to be always just asking him to help you make the right decision, ace a test, or whatever...prayer is simply talking to God (just like you would to your best friend) about anything. The other aspects of prayer are asking him for help (like I had just mentioned), praising him (even when things don't look too bright), and also taking time to listen to what he is saying to us. Prayer is such an effective tool we have as Christians. Even though you might not find that your every request is answered, that doesn't mean God isn't there-God's not a genie and he doesn't just pop out what we ask him to do in every situation. Just remember that he knows you better than you do yourself, and he's the only one who knows and can control your future- and you can trust him! He won't let you down. He loves you so much more than any human ever could be capable of loving you, and he wants so badly for you to trust him. Open up your heart and let him in, he won't hurt you. You say you want to believe, but it's too hard. Well, when you're ready, it's really not that hard. All it takes to become a Christian is one simple, sincere prayer. Simply confess that you have sinned in the past, and ask for his forgiveness (you'll get that automatically!), so you can be right with him. Say that you believe in his son, Jesus Christ, and that he died for you. Ask him to come into your heart, say how you are willing to follow him your whole life. If you mean what you are saying, at this point you are a Christian! There are no specific words or anything, just tell God something like that, and resolve to make this a day of change in your life. Then thank him and praise him for the wonderful thing he has just done for you! And tell other Christians, family and friends about it too! If you don't already, start going to a good Christian church, try to make friends with people their and get involved. You'll need to get an easy to read Bible (like "the Message"), and spend time reading it and praying regularly to teach you and help you grow in your walk with God. I know this has been a very lengthy message, but it is about the most important thing in my life- Jesus- and I can't help but talk about him. He is amazing! I hope this has answered your questions. If not, or if you want to talk about it some more, feel more than welcome to email me at jennabeanski@yahoo.ca. God bless! :)

Hi there.I'm a Moslem from Iran and I believe that he can hear you.prophet Mohammad and Jesus Christ are both chosen people of God not ordinary people.they all hear what you say.they see what you do.and they know what you think and how you feel.because God has given them this ability.the holy Quran says in the judgment day prophet Mohammad will ask God to forgive Moslems because he knows what they have done.and Jesus Christ will ask God to forgive Christians as well without doubt.they have guided us.right! but the devil is still with humans and as long as there's a devil to deceive people there would be sins.but we should try not to do what the devil orders us.I know that sometimes it is difficult to defeat the devil regurding his tantalizing orders but we can do so by practicing.we can get nicer and nicer untill we really dererve to go to heaven.one more thing:Jesus Christ and our 12th Imam are both alive.believe me.A man had cospired to kill Jesus but God turned that cospirerer in the shape of Jesus so people killed that man instead.God has made them both (Jesus and our 12th Imam) invisible and some day they will both come and that's the day when there will be Armogeddon and everything will be all right. If you don't agree with me then how do you expect Jesus to come again if he's not alive?Think about it.He's with you as well as our 12th Imam.they appear among people with different figures and they help us most of the time.Have not you ever had any strange experiences?and some one has helped or saved you?sure you've had.Think about it deeply.

Jesus is Lord and Savior. The only way God hears and answers prayer is if you believe on him and accept him into your heart. Romans 10:9&10 says; that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you shall be saved. For it is with the heart that one believe's unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Do this and when you pray- pray in the name of Jesus Christ. John 14:6 Jesus says; I am the way, the truth and the life:no man cometh unto the father, but by me. Matthew 7:7-8 says;Ask and it shall be given, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will open. Mark 9:23 Jesus said all things are possible to all who believe. Hebrew 11:1 says; Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen So have faith and pray. God wants to have a relationship with you.God hears you ! You must have faith. God Bless you!

Lotta reliable solutions, some junk jumbled mutually. as a fashion to truly understand the scriptures, you need to properly known the background of all of it, and that starts with Genesis. commence there and look at to the beginning up of Revelation, and you will have a reliable thought of what went down and why issues have been performed the way they have been. do no longer attempt to memorize the completed ingredient, yet learn the activities that extra approximately or led to different activities. Like crossing the purple Sea. somebody has now pronounced he found out that Moses did no longer pass the purple Sea, however the ineffective sea, and at a time whilst the water become basically some inches deep. He contends that there become no miracle in touch. perhaps so, yet how lots greater of a miracle do you want. God drowned Pharaoh's finished military in ankle deep water. So who knows what blunders background made, the two become a miracle. with regard to the 6th or seventh time through, you will start to appreciate a number of what's being instructed to the factor which you would be able to commence coaching others approximately it. perhaps quicker given which you look extremely properly knowledgeable. God Bless You. once you think of you have all of it down reliable, then learn Revelation. it will scare the pants off ya. i do no longer advise it to beginners interior the word.

Not only does God hear our prayers, he answers them.

Unbelief keeps us from noticing.

The keys to a productive prayer life are faith and perseverence.

You must believe that you will receive.

Jesus and the apostles said as much.

It's true. Try it.

For some encouragement, go here to read about many of those who prayed successfully:

Yes, Jesus hears your prayers. He is totally trustworthy. Start praying, about anything and everything. Pray that He reveals Himself to you. He cares about everything you are going through.

Read the new testament. There are lots of translation choices out there, so pick one you can easily understand. Matthew is a good place to start.

Good luck!

That, it is for you to decide! Anyway, it's not that you will trust Christ with your money! You will trust him if that is working for you! I know for sure that Christ is not going to take advantage of your trust (being dead and all) and, on the plus side - after you die - you go straight to heaven for believing in him so much! Good luck! Religion is so good! Right? Enjoy it! And the best part is when you die! Instant happiness!! FOREVER! But you are not allowed to kill yourself! You have to wait your death! All you have to do is believe in Christ and kill time till you die and endless happiness is all yours!

clamcrunchies,
Yes He can. He says that He cares about whatever it is that is bothering you.
Luke 11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
