Ok I had a party last week with two kegs. Both the kegs were tapped with a Co2 system in a walk in frige. We finished 1 keg and about a quarter of the other keg.
Is the keg that I didn't drink still good? It has been chilled the whole time. It is curently in a refrigerator, and the beer was tapped with Co2 not air or a hand pump.
Thanks. Please only answer if you know.

Yes, the beer will last about 6 months or so with the Co2 on it. And that means it has to be on and a constant pressure on it of about 13 or 14 psi. If you use too much or too little this will quickly make the beer flat. Or the opposite have too much carbonation. Believe it or not but it is nasty with too much carbonation. You don't have too keep it on ice either, the sterile invironment inside the keg never sees bateria plagued air. After six months it seems to get a metallic taste, but it theory it is still good.....

I suggest a keg. Only one, it should be able to handle 40 people. I would say find a beer that is popular with both serious beer drinkers and people who are not so serious. I usually go for Shiner Bock. It is a happy medium.

Yes I would think it should be- if you had it chilled the whole time. Think about it this way...bars and restraunts have draft beers and they keep their kegs in the cooler over time, like days/weeks. They wouldn't sell it if it was bad right? So go have another party lol

Its still good the only problem is ti maybe has lost some co2 and is a bit "flat" in taste. If you have chance to tap it woth co2 system that should not be a problem.

Enjoy

Is no problem at all Up to six months
It Will get flat though.
The first beer coming out you should toss out:sour. The rest Will be fine.
Have a couple of people over for card games and finish that beer.
It is a waist letting it go to the dogs.

I don't do the Keg. I don't need hopeless drunks sleeping it off on my couch. We have a whole bar downstairs beside the air conditioning unit. I really need another cooler, though. We have been going through Coronas, Costa del Sol's, Two Oceans red wine and brandy like mad.

yes. if it was and is still tapped your beer is fine. you'll want to run a bit through to rinse out the tap because the beer that was not under pressure will be sour. as the first guy sez, party.

If it is within two weeks no problem. Taverns and Pubs do it all of the tyme if they do not use it in a week.

Depends... even if it's flat, it still has the same kick... but it shouldn't get totally flat in that time.
