there are many songs in my playlist. most are "MPEG", but some are "AAC". Will the "AAC" format songs burn onto the "MP3" disc, so i can play it in a mp3 cd player?

I know when you burn a cd in iTunes it WILL play anywhere. I think it converts them to .wav format. Whatever program you use to burn, other than iTunes, such as Roxio, Sonic, Nero, etc... You can set that program to convert all audio files to mp3 format when copying to cd. Then just start your cd burning project from that program and bypass the iTunes copier.

Nope. iTunes should be able to convert AAC files to MP3 format on the fly, but I don't believe it can yet. Maybe one day...
