i would take the Corvette because not only is it more fuel efficent, its more comfortable,more reliable and its safer. its just more practical. but thats my opinion, whats your's?

Right off the top if it has a Dodge emblem it is better than a Chevy and worth the extra money. Also the Viper has a mans engine, can you say torque, which makes this car so awesome. It totally shows the Vette who's the man in any test givin. As for the stats the numbers say it all:
2006 Chevy Corvette Z06 w/ 7.0L V8 @ $90,000
505hp @ 6300rpm
470ft-lbs @ 4800rpm
A curb weight of 3565lbs and gets 26mpg
2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10 w/ 8.3L V10 @ $91,000
510hp @ 5600rpm
535ft-lbs @ 4100rpm
A curb weight of 3380lbs and gets 20mpg
The numbers are clear as to why the Viper is a better car and worth the $1,000 extra.
As for milage goes your looking at spending $90,000 on a car and your worried about the amout you will have to pay for gas. If it gas milage you want buy a Hybrid (I hear Toyota makes a good one).

Buy ZO-6 Have Lingenfelter do his tricks and 550+ horsepower. Bear in mind that the exhaust has to be shielded around the clutch and bell housing So you don't melt the clutch slave cyl. Additional transmission coolers for the manual also helps. Wheels Tires and you will be tearing up your local road racing track.

I also like the corvette more than the viper because it looks better and also because its cheaper
