Is there a way to get a cosmetology license for only styling hair?

No you have to go through the whole course. Hair coloring, styling, cutting etc.

I think the best, and cheapest, way is to go to a community college and take the cosmetology courses there in order to get your license.

there is no cheap way. it's 13,000 for a year of school. it takes about 13 mths. if you find a cheaper way please email; me. thanks
