I am not a gay, nor i like to be...there was a discussion on a tv channel here in India and i thought what they told is logiocally correct...why will almighty punish his children for that sin, for which he is not at fault...?

Truth is people do choose it. Sometimes just as naturally as a person chooses to be a heterosexual. I say this and hope you can understand that a child may have many influences on the child that could influence a child to choose homosexuality even before the child knows what it has chosen.
When a child is born it usually learns from its emotions. The child will learn customs and cultures from its' surroundings as well. All play a role in forming a child's habits. Just as many things a child will choose to do and accept as the way it feels often the child forgets what the incidents that took place that helped form emotions it liked or even disliked as a small child.
There is something about the emotion of attraction and forming a sexual orientation that is very sustaining in a persons mind, even as a child. Sometimes there are even other issues involved. Some children may have a gender nonconformity.
Gender nonconformity is not a pre requisite for being gay, most people think and say it is. This is because that many children with a gender nonconformity can and do become gay. I believe it is because they believe sometime down the road they are born gay. It is a separate issue, but if a child has a gender nonconformity and that is not treated, the child may often role play as the opposite gender as a child and this can influence a child or another child in ways that may bring an occurrence of homosexuality innocently or not and that can be misunderstood by a child and there for could spur a child into thinking the child was born gay.
If a child has an incident when small that influenced the child to be or want to be homosexual and the child forgets, later the memory of the attraction to same gender could become catullus for a child to think it was gay, perhaps born gay.
Any child can be influenced. Not all children with a gender nonconformity will become gay. Some children appear to have a born gender nonconformity while others can learn characteristics that seem to be a gender nonconformity.
A true gender nonconformity is when the child wants to be the opposite sex it was born. Some are saying this may be hormonal influenced. I remember I wanted to pee like my dad, then it was just natural for me to want to be the opposite gender I was born. So I can not say if it is hormonal or not, but if not treated some children can become very confused and dysfunctional. Some children today with a gender nonconformity grow up and choose a sex reassignment surgery.
There is very much involved with why a child may become homosexual, and God Knows that it is a real problem. It was not His original plan, but it was not His fault.
He does realize it is a way that many will be and want to be, but it is something that can be healed with the help of Jesus Christ. If one wants help, the should ask in Jesus Christ name, and it may be a slow change, but the Lord Jesus Christ will help a person change. It may even take a lifetime for a person to heal. The person may seem to be living in sin and may be trying to be healed at the same time. So we all should pray for one and another and help each other learn to love one another as a friend as a neighbor. This thing is way out of hand because issues of sexuality are way out of hand.

Whoever told you that God gave homossexuality as a gift is REALY, REALY WRONG. God hates it!!!! Romans 1:18-32 tells us that God has no mercy for homosexuals. It says that "Because they do this,God has given them over to their own shamefull pasions. "Rom 1:26 Good News Bible.
Ps. Please go and read the whole piece(abive mentioned). I wasn't sure about this either untill i found this part in the Bible. It is new testemant teachings, so it still aplies to us today. I hope this answers your question.
P.p.s I prefer doing the research myself and finding the answers in the Bible. Anybody can tell you anytihng, but if he doesn't base it on the Bible, then how do I know that it is true. I hope this aswers your question!!!

They can't see that you don't Chose to be gay or bi or a lezbian that it's born with in you and I don't believe god does punish them I believe he loves them for it does say in the bible that god loves ALL that includes them as well. There is only one thing that makes someone gay. you can think your gay, you can tell everyone your gay but your NOT. Sex with your own gender makes you gay, NOTHING else. That is a free choice. FREE CHOICE.
