If you are going to do this a lot, you might invest in a food dehydrator. I use mine to dry hot chiles (and then powder them), make "sun-dried" tomatoes, make fruit leather, and, yes, dry mushrooms so I can throw them into soups and stews later.
If you don't want to do that, lay them out on grills or pans in the oven, prop the door open about an inch, and let them dry there. If you have a gas oven with a pilot light, that's all you need do. If you have an electric oven, make sure the light in the oven is on and that will provide enough heat. It will take a few days this way, though.

Slice them up, then dry them in either a dehydrator or low-hear oven. For the latter, spread the slices on a cookie sheet, and leave them in an oven heated on a low setting for several hours (4-8, depending on how thick the slices are, and the moisture level in the mushrooms).
This method also works for fruits - berries, peaches, etc.

cartier95 has it i have found the only way is to buy an dehydrator and dry them that way...also it can be used to dry herbs....i try and keep during the winter without paying a arm and a leg ...i buy a box of spores ready to grow and place them in my closet...the box grows plenty of mushrooms.....they are purchased from ...gurneys.com...it was in yankton..sd but i think it moved to minn.........
