All religions criticize all other religions. It's human nature.

I am a Christian and I am not prejudice and I do not criticize other's religions. I am also not a drunk or a wacko. I do tell people about Christianity because that is what the Bible tells us to do - "go and preach the gospel to all the world so that the world might be saved." If you belive in your heart that you have the answer to save a dying world would you not share it as well? I've lived both lives - non-Christian and Christian. I can tell you this much - the only true happiness and peace to be found is through Jesus Christ. Why wouldn't I want to share that?

Prejudice is not only restricted to Christians but all religions have among their beleivers some who don't tolerate others..it is a human nature more than religious in my thinking.

Do you always speak in generalizations??
I dont hate muslims, nor do i go around bashing anyones religious beliefs. I can say only what is right for me. I will not stand accountable for anyone elses choices.
If someone asks me my opinion of something i will give it. They are under no obligation to accept it or even agree with it.
But friend you really shouldnt speak in such wide ranging general terms lumping any group of people together..... its not fair to them and dosnt look good on you .

God bless you have a great night :)

You have it back to front. Others, in particular liberal socialists, are attacking the Christians, because they at least represent civilized behavior, sound laws and sensiblilty, even if some of them aren't that sensible or that great of examples.

Whereas many Christians are hypocrites, others strive to be overtly wrong and don't even want good laws on the books, or something to strive for.

I don't get it either... the only thing I can think of is that they fear what they don't understand and so they attack. I am Christian, by the way, but have been taught that no one religion is better than the other.

It's the exclusivity doctrine of the Abrahamic faiths. Anyone not part of their "truth" is by definition against it. Then there's that "saved" nonsense: To be acceptable you either have to be "morally perfect" (which is impossible by definition, since morals are highly variable things that change with fashion), or part of the "One True Church" (whichever one that is, and it is impossible to determine which is the "true" one since all sects have histories of both good and bad actions).

And, of course, if one is "saved", then anything they do wrong is okay by God...because they've asked him for forgiveness. So they can get away with all kinds of arrogance and hypocrasy...after all, they're "Saved". And you're not. Which is why it's okay for them to pass judgement on you, since they're "using God's words and not their own" (a great excuse to escape responsability for uttering nonsense and bigotry).

Same could be said about any group of people, why single out Christians? And what Christians do you mean, there are many denominations of Christianity.

Not all Christians are like that. Groups change over time, so look at the fundamental beliefs before generalizing all of Christianity.

There is only one path to salvation and that is to surrender one's life to our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ. He said there is no other way to heaven except through his grace. It is unfortunate that there are wackos and drunks that call themselves Christians. The majority of Christians are not like that, though none of us is perfect. Good luck to you and I pray that you find the truth and come to know the Lord.
