He seems very self centred, actual penetration is not the only thing that makes a good and fullfilling sex life. It is the intimacy, it is the way your lover looks into your eyes...its all the nice things he does and says to you....thats love. You may have nerve damage, but that doesnt mean you will be an ineffective lover. I think this man dumped you because he was only interested in sex. He obviously doesnt know much about sex and love to claim he loves you but doesnt want to get back with you. He is keeping you on a string. Dont do this to yourself, find a man who will trully love you. I work with this young woman who cannot have sex at all because of psychological damage done to her as a child, yet she is in a very loving relationship. Her man absolutely adores her. And I dont understand it when you say you cannot function normally during sex....what does that mean? If he had any sense of adventure he would find other ways.
Its horrible to admit, but unfortunately, I dont think this man loves you. You are better than this...there is a man out there who is perfect for you....this man is not worth it...find a man who is worthy of your love.

Your man was a jerk, I just don't get why some guys can't see that sex is far less important in a relationship than love, respect and honesty. Sounds like he was only interested in sex because penetration is a more mutual experience than oral/masturbation etc and when he realised he might have to actually try something that involved stimulating you instead of stimulating himself he wasn't interested.
You are much better off without him honey.

No, it does not sound like love. I am married now, but I seem to remember a wedding vow that said something about "...in sickness and health, 'til death do you part..."
If this should ever happen to me, that my wife could no longer have sex for medical reasons, I would resign myself to having whatever limited sex I could with her - oral, masturbation, or whatever.
If I found that I absolutely could not live without sexual intercourse and she was medically unable for life, I would talk to her and see if she would agree to occaisionally bringing me a professional for sex only. If she refused the arrangement, I would just be celibate because I would rather be with her because I love her and would be true to my vows.

Cannot function? It isn't like a woman really has to do anything during sex except be there.
He might still love you, but I wouldn't count on it.

If anyone dumps anyone for any reason, good or bad, then that means it is not love.

Why do you think they say for better or for worse? The sex wasn't good, so he left. So, he didn't love you.

I am so sorry. I could only give my opinion and I would say you should see if a doctor can help. Good luck to you.

Sorry about that. You are better off without a selfish, narrow minded, self conscious, anal retentive Jackass. You are better than that.
