I have not chosen that. I would have more respect for your decision if it spawned from a secular perspective. Think of all the good, lecherous experiences you will have probably missed out on. Of course, you may have chosen to enjoy your sexuality these past years, while maintaining your virginity, if you know what I mean. I don't get many chicks AT ALL and it sucks a lot! On the other hand, by staying abstinent one doesn't have to worry about pregnancy or STD. Plus, maybe you are more into the personality of people, rather than how they look. I have not chosen to abstain, but I have terrible social skills, low confidence, and generalized apathy. Praise Jesus for Internet porn!

I know a few virgins my age. 1 has intentionally waited for marriage. 1 has been protected by God from getting laid. The others just are unable(but not unwilling) to have sex because of social skills.
Sorry I'm too lazy to do that research. You would think the percentage is out there somewhere.

I am 24 and am going to stay a virgin till im married.. and i do know a lot of people who share same principles as me. Its just something that you judge is important for you and your better half.
Im sure no man would be happy with his wife if he realised on the first nite he was not her first time .. hey..is there any way we galz could find if we are the first time for the man we married ??

In Egypt, 95% are virgin when they get married, it's religion & tradition, muslims & christian girls must keep it to their husband , he must be the first one not only to make love with her but even to kiss her but this was more in the past, now unfortunatelly kisses before marriage sometimes , but i didn't i was completley virgin without even a touch, i'm not so religious but enough to not allow any one then my husband to touch me .
it's a great feeling & gift to ur husband to be the first to touch you & kiss you.
ahh , forgot to say , boys have to be virgin too. but the % is mush less in the reality. but for some girls they prefer to be the first one that their husband kiss & make love.

A fair number of women do. Generally, if a guy stays a virgin he's either very religious, extremely shy, or not trying hard enough.

if u live in my country(philippines)...a wife's virginity is the greatest gift a woman can give to her husband on their wedding night. it's part of our culture and up to now it's still being practiced...i wasnt a virgin when i married my husband but he was the one who took it from me when we were still sweethearts...we've been dating for 5 years and when we were both stable that's when we decided to get married but we never stayed in one roof...we go our separate ways. we got to lived in one house when we were already husband and wife. i never regret what i did coz i gave it out of love and i was lucky that he ended up as my husband. if i had my way i would like to save it until my wedding night(if i wasnt sure who i ended up with).

I was the first time around because I was very strictly religious at the time. Obviously not the second time I married.
