To God be all the glory!!!Someone pray for me im trying to make it back with God coming from "backsliding".Everyday is a challenge and everyday i feel better when i exceed that challenge...Again thanks for your time! I won't revise those 2 verses, but I would like to comment that those are the 2 verses that Jesus relied on when he was being tempted by the devil, right after his 40 days and 40 nights fasting in the wilderness. If Jesus could rely on those scriptures and the ideas they expressed, to help him in a time of temptation, you can rely on them, too, and know that God is supporting you in your efforts. God is with you at all times. You can't be separated from Him and His goodness and purity. God made you. And when He made you, you were pure. What God has made cannot be turned assunder. Your purity is yours, all yours, and nothiing can take that away from you. Pornography isn't a part of your experience here. It does not represent the REAL you, who was born pure. The animal magnetism of pornography cannot have any power over you or your thought if you call upon the most high God to protect you and support you.
Keep your thought on God, good, and there won't be any room for other thoughts that are inconsistent with His plan for you. Think about all the qualities of God. Truth. Honesty. Love. Life. Spirit. Principle. Right thinking.--Contemplate these and how God has made these qualities manifest themselves in your life, and the presumed "draw" of pornography will lose its attraction.

www.amazingfacts.org is a good one. Just remember that Jesus is always stronger than Satan, and you are better than this. You will be just fine.
Mark 10:13 says, " There hath no temptation taken you but such as is commom to man: but God is "faithful", who will NOT suffer you to be tempted above that which you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may by able to bear it".
In other words..God want put us through anything we can not handle. And yes, I said a prayer for you.

Now why would you want to change those two verses. is beyond me.but the New Jerusalem Bible says it in a different way . maybe that will satisfy you?
he has given his angels orders about you to guard you wherever you go.They will carry you in their arms in case you trip over a stone.
God has said it is a sin to revise His words in any way.
